I just can’t object to open blouses. I would never voice such an objection no matter how homely the woman was.

My wife and I went to a couple of Reba and George Straight concerts at the Special Events Center in Austin and the noise level was tolerable. A few weeks later, we went to a Garth Brooks concert and left after the first 30 minutes. The entire building was shaking. I had fingers in my ears and it still hurt.

Some places you can move away from noisy babies. But at concerts, movies, church, restaurants, and other places you’re stuck. Restaurants sometimes are not too bad because some of them can be fairly noisy anyway with people talking. But when I was a kid it was considered bad manners or simply not allowed to have infants in certain places. People knew better. Maybe that’s why drive-in movies were so popular.

Got that. Bur Breitbart should not have headlined her lying (and stupid) ploy for sympathy.

My wife loves going to concerts, and until two weeks ago, we still had a tube TV.

TOld her for a number of years that if just skipped 4-5 concerts, we could have a very good Smart HDTV and an excellent sound system and get a better experience than being there in person.

A number of years ago, I went with her to a Michael Buble concert. I pointed out to her two guys who seemed to be attending the concert and asked what the odds were that they were gay. She’s gone to two other Buble concerts, but with one of her gal friends.

It’s for the sake of the deaf people in the rear of the hall, I guess.

Concerts are LOUD especially in the pit! I can’t hear for two days after a concert and I’m sure as hell not that close. I can’t imagine anyone being that stupid to put either child in that situation.

Mom is an idiot. Pity the baby.

As well as a break from that deafening/damaging music for infant ears.

IMAGINE having twins, triplets or YIKES QUADRUPLETS!

I think my daughter and her husband just took their babies to a concert at a military base. She recorded a small clip from the concert. It wasn’t too loud where they were on the lawn. They were at a place where they could leave if they needed to leave. There were a ton of military families there. It was a family friendly atmosphere. Maybe up close to the stage was a bit more crazy.

I have been to concerts on bases, and they were family friendly. They were all country music entertainers. We did not get up close. I am not sure if we ever took an infant though we definitely took some toddlers. Everyone had fun. All of these events were free.

Amen. I do think it IS (not “borders upon”) child abuse.
