Americans should live in fear of the Supreme Court, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday.
Hammering a pair of recent rulings related to birth control access, the House minority leader suggested the conservative-leaning court is stealing women's freedoms when it comes to making healthcare choices.
“We should be afraid of this court. That five guys should start determining what contraceptions are legal or not. … It is so stunning,” Pelosi said during a press briefing in the Capitol.
Pelosi said last week's Supreme Court ruling that the birth control mandate under President Obama's healthcare reform law is a violation of religious freedom was particularly egregious.
“That court decision was a frightening one,” she said. “That five men should get down to the specifics of whether a woman should use a diaphragm and she should pay for it herself or her boss. It's not her boss's business. His business is whatever his business is. But it's not what contraception she uses.”

What is really going on is that she is so obsessed with retaining her own and her party’s hold on power that she is willing to justify almost anything that will further that cause. Logic has nothing to do with her thinking. She is guided by self-interest alone. The dustbin of history is full of such people. They exit the scene unlamented.
It worked in 2012 due to a number of factors, one being some Republican candidates dying to blow themselves up and others with them with stupid statements.
But now the courts sided with Hobby Lobby and Little Sisters of the Poor (excellent) after the Dems bragged how the SCOTUS approved Obamacare.
2014 is nothing like 2012 but Dems are trying every trick to make it be.

Is this the rhetoric Pelosi uses to extract money from the hard earned cash of the business owner? With Big Government extracting money from businesses with taxes, fees and fines, where does it stop? Maybe the government should confiscate everything they make and dole out just enough to live in a shack. This type of talk comes from a woman whose husband, Paul, finances Nancey’s political career through the hard earned cash of his investments. She is a woman who has been spoiled by the good nature of her husband. It is a case of a woman who is obsessed with how to take the cash while her husband makes the cash.

On the whole those employers who are providing birth control to female employers, when they must provide them paid maternity care, it is a bargain for them.
This is political and ideological for her.
The Alinsky Playbook is going to use the War on Woman to the max. My point is they are going to compel businesses to bear the freight of this expense. When did it give government the right to demand that the private sector pay for such matters? Think of the precedence this is taking. This gives the government the right to demand what color paint you can paint your building. And, it gives them the right to extract money from you to make things "nicer" for your employee. To see this only as political Alinsky tactic fails to realize the ultimate intentions of government bent on government control. The Dems are using Alinsky tactic to further Big Government control.
