The Obama administration has been engulfed in an unending stream of scandals and President Barack Obama learned of most of them through news reports.
From the 2012 Benghazi attacks that killed four Americans, to the IRS targeting conservative nonprofit groups, to the revelations about veterans dying while waiting for care because of falsified lists at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the president and his top aides have admitted that they found out about them in the media.
"I first learned about it from the same news reports that I think most people learned about this," Obama said in June 2013 when he was asked about the IRS scandal. "I think it was on Friday."

“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me,” Obama told NBC News in a White House interview.”
Yet another Obama lie. How can he feel “sorry” about it
when it was his full intention that this happen.

You’re sentiment is right but in reality Congress is nothing but a cheap sideshow of sleazy, self-serving politicians to whom the concept of “duty-bound” has no meaning. Look at their ratings in poll after poll. A used car salesman gets more respect than the clowns in congress. They’re only interested in two things: (1) spending your tax dollars and (2) getting re-elected.
And about those stories the media won’t cover?
It’s not like they watch FOX news either.
bump to the top
Obama ignores his national security briefings, if they’re even still being done at all. Obama’s approach is perfectly Marxist: if the story is in the media, it’s political, and by definition, relevant. His primary and sole priority is politicization of everything from the rising sun to the price of pork. There is nothing else in his world.
