The single most important contributor to the U.S.'s military dominance is the country's powerful navy, which gives America the ability to project hard power just about anywhere in the world.

...however, if Big Brother should ever take control of it...
Not doing a damn bit of good against all the muzzies in Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Afghanistan and Hamas and Detroit...etc etc
Last report I saw - they are all in port at the moment - except Bush - which is off of Bahrain and stationed at that port...they cost too much to be deploy and it interferes with golf tours...
They forgot the Canadian Aircraft Carrier.
There’s a great picture with several GU-11’s ready for takeoff.
America is currently running a MASSIVE trade deficit with China, which is rapidly gaining as the second-largest military.
Hey I found it...
here it is...
What good is a large military if the people in charge don’t know how to use it effectively?
We really haven’t won a war since WWII. Yes, we have won battles (Gulf War 1 and 2, etc), but we have not acted decisively in any conflict since WW2. By decisive, I mean utterly crushing the enemy in battle and imposing favorable terms for the cessation of hostilities.
It appears the Obamanation has some work left to do to whittle that superiority down.
“project hard power “
...at third-world nations. We never tackle first-world nations with them.
Just think how many illegals they can house and feed...
Your info is outdated:
They also missed one of the Indian carriers, the INS has two. Thee Japanese also have a new ship that looks like a carrier but is called cruiser
Doesn’t matter. All you have to do to take over America is send your toddlers.
Don’t let Barack see this, he’ll insist on giving the Third World their fair share of our aircraft carriers...
All these carriers are no good unless MANNED properly and the MEN are led properly.
Otherwise they are just hulks.
Aren’t at least half of the carriers supposed to be pink?
Seems someone gave me false information on the current state of our carriers...uhm...very interesting...
I missed that one - it was a financial report concerning over whether the US had the ability to project power worldwide when the US Carrier fleet was in port...had to do with the federal budget. IF I read the link correctly - out of 10 carriers - only 4 are out and about right now...with additional carriers being built...but the link is informative to say the least...
