As tragic as are the aborted souls of the innocent ,the blood and treasure of Americans from Bunker Hill to Belleau Wood, Normandy, Iwo Jima, The Chosin Resevoir, Khe San to Fallujah demand that we, their inheritors do something about the dismantling of the nation they died for. I’m not being a ‘’keyboard commando’’ here but by if I have to go down to DC and drag that Marxist son of b!tch out of The White House I’ll do it!!

“Another thing: Get over your BDS”

It is a fact George H.W. Bush failed to secure the border after he took over from Reagan. Clinton continued his loose enforcement policy as did his son and Obama.

George W. Bush pushed amnesty during his first term and fought those in Congress who insisted on securing the border first and building a physical fence. Once the money was appropriated by Congress for a 700 mile physical barrier, he moved into slow execution mode, leaving it to his successor who continued his policy of dragging his feet on securing the border.

Sorry, but both Bushes contributed greatly to the current immigration problem. They both had a choice between strict enforcement of the border and weak enforcement. Both have a globalist mindset and both chose open borders when they had the opportunity to secure the border. Those are the facts. Brother Jeb is also for amnesty and will have a wide open border if he is ever elected president.

I agree Obama is responsible for the current situation with the children, but he’d have a much more difficult time doing what he is doing now had the Bushes pursued a tight border policy during the 12 years they were in the White House. The other culprit in this mess is the Republican House which has done nothing to reign in the president from abusing his executive power. I won’t even begin to mention the Republican Senators, most of whom are for loose borders and amnesty. Don’t forget the last 2 GOP presidential candidates have been weak on border control and have been in favor of immigration reform (code word for amnesty).

What leader of the GOP have you heard during the past 15 years stand before the American people and demand a physical fence be built, the “children” coming across the border be turned away, and the border be locked down tight? I don’t recall hearing this from any Bush, McCain, Romney, McConnell, Frist, Hastert, Boehner, Rove, or any RNC Chairman. In fact, George W. hasn’t said a word since leaving office about any of the travesties of the past 6 years. Perhaps that is to be expected. He didn’t have much to say during his term of office when he was under a blistering assault by the media and the Democrats. He was a pathetic leader and did great damage to the country.

I’m seeing a lot of unaccompanied minors in that photo. Heartbreaking that the little kids are coming into our country unaccompanied by anyone who loves them ...

But he didn’t hate this country and he and his wife had some class.

Very true. However, being a good person doesn’t make one a good president or leader. Bush failed to be an effective leader at a time when the nation needed it. Taking the nation into two wars does not make a great leader. His domestic agenda was a great failure. He expanded the welfare state and doubled the debt accumulated by all previous presidents. He failed to effectively use his veto power. He prosecuted two wars in Asia, yet was unable or unwilling to protect the southern border of this nation from invasion, allowing millions of illegals to cross during his 8 years in office.
