Posted on 07/12/2014 9:31:25 AM PDT by Hostage
The DCCC, the campaign arm for Rep. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, has raised $22 million more than the House GOP for the fall elections. That result is surprising enough, as Democrats' minority status gives them little political leverage in the House. More surprising, though, is that Democrats have raised almost three times as much money, $46 million v. $17 million, as Republicans from small-dollar grass roots donors. The political landscape and recent polling would suggest the opposite situation.

Have another shot of Jack Daniels Monsieur Boehner.
PO your conservative donors and reap the consequences.
When a political party actively suppresses its grass-roots base, why would the expect money to keep flowing.
The dems only surreptitiously suppress their base (keeping them on the plantation, as it were).
Like the sex addicted, some people can’t see past the Boehner (pun intended).
Those small donations from grassroots conservatives add up!
No more complicated than that.
My mom used to be give to the GOP pretty frequently, but when she gets their solicitations in the mail these days she scrawls “Tea Party” on the form and sends it back.
Let me guess... there was a large proportion of Chinese dishwashers donating money?
Soros must be running his check printing machines on overdrive for the mid-terms.
Can I donate online without giving my zip or country?
I’m keeping my “rasis” wallet closed. Maybe the GOP could take up a collection from Barry’s “Kids” living in their new $6054 dollar per month digs.
The GOP Grassroots is the Tea Party. The GOP doesn’t want us around so they can do without our money.
Tell them to go beg for support from George Soros and Warren Buffett.
The GOP has no base outside the country clubs where the little people aren’t allowed.
Also, when has the GOP delivered anything to its base? They constantly sell the base out and make excuses, hiding behind legalism or some other rationale like moving toward the middle. The Left consistently delivers, laws and consequences be damned.
Burn the Republican party down, toss out its wimp incumbents, create a new party that is as Conservative as the Democrats are Liberal.
I can’t envision a scenario where I would ever donate to the GOP again.
This is what is causing Hillary’s book sales to suffer. It looks like she is going to have to continue being “broke”.
This shows the results of Karl Rove, and his stinking establishment schemes.
People are fed up with the Republican Party, and I believe are doing as we here at the ranch are, and that is sending our contributions directly to those we support.
To ‘H’ with the Republican Party. They want to put yours, and my money behind those that support exactly what we as American citizens don’t want, or need, AND they flip the wee birdie in our faces as they do so.
Yep, trash the Tea Party and this is what happens. I do not donate to the GOPe. I donate directly to those candidates I support.
I haven’t donated to either the House or Senate Committees since 1998 when they, under Gingrich, went squishy.
But, I, like many others, have targeted our donations to individual candidates and so the differential with the demonrats probably isn’t as great.
They should have a clue from the notes I write on their money requests.
No more donations to GOP.
This statistic is somewhat skewed because it doesn’t take into account people like me who donate directly to the candidates. I will never donate to the GOPe again.
Why? All the moonbat progs and statist America-haters have lots of representation to support in Washington. There exists is no worthy opposition party to support for the rest of us.
remember when Odumbo kept preaching about donating $5? It’s not recorded if it’s that amount so it’s untraceable.
Looks like the “grassroots” is too dumb to realize that it’s a numbers game. We lose the House, and Pelosi is back in power.
Aside from that, however, the Dem definition of grass-roots is pretty broad - even including unidentified foreign contributions.
only a fool is surprised by this...they’ve called me twice in the past two months and i’ve told them the same thing both times, “i’m not a Republican, i’m a Tea Party conservative- stop calling me”...
maybe now that its hitting them in the pocketbook they’ll get the message...i doubt it though...

"WHY BLAME ME? SOMETIMES I HAVE TO MAKE THE TOUGH DECISIONS. THAT'S WHAT I GET PAID TO DO. SO WHAT IF YOU TEA PARTY RACISTS AND DOMESTIC TERRORISTS DON'T LIKE IT? "
GIMME NOTHER ROUND BARKEEP,... HIC...GA
WHAT WAS I SAYING? OH YEAH WE GOTTA GET THIS IMMIGRATION THING SOLVED ...HIC...NANCY? NANCY WHERE ARE YOU? HELP ME OUT HERE HON.
Never, never, never give to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) or the Republican National Committee (RNC).
All three groups are RINO’s who will use your money to target, malign and defeat conservatives.
They are our enemies.
Donate directly to good candidates.
I am a member of the NRA but have let them know that I will give no extra money when they continue to support demonRATs like harry reid.
We have a local TEA party and I throw a twenty into the hat when I attend a local event, but no money to groups that I don't know.
Sounds good to me. Donate to the candidate that you can respect and vote for rather than a party hack. GOPe is going to go away in a few cycles.
In the next presidential election, I will not vote for JEB!, Willard or any other one-world phony, even if they name Jesus Christ as their running mate. I'll write-in Ted Cruz, Ben Carson or Ted Nugent.
Let’s see who controls the House next January.
Fact is, CONSERVATIVES donate to conservative candidates.
I quit giving to the national party a long time ago, but increased giving to INDIVIDUAL candidates....
No surprise here. The grassroots Republicans are tired of funding Establishment RINOs. Let their corporatist buddy pals do it.
The GOP might get the hint that they need us to win and to give them money. I for one have quit my donations and now give directly to the candidate I want. No more.
No true Republican in his/her right mind would give John Boehner so much as a plug nickle.
“donations” direct from the US Treasury into Dem. coffers.
Conservatives don’t want to give to the RNC and other groups
I think you stumbled upon the real reason for that ludicrous figure. It's a money laundering racket for the Dems. (As is everything else they "fund.")
I wonder why that is...
Without the Republicans we have in power now, bad as they may be - and I agree, most of them are bad - we wouldn’t have any ability to oppose Obama legislatively or any ability to oppose his appointments. If we lose the majority in the House, it doesn’t matter how pure and conservative the remaining members are, because they’re powerless.
Same in the Senate. I hoped the GOP would get a majority, but I doubt that it’s going to happen now.
Of all the races (~465) this November, we’re hearing very little polling... if the Rats’ internals showed them picking up seats, they’d be bullhorning from the mountaintops to depress the R turnout.
They’re not, they’re desperately begging for money to conduct
the voter fraud necessary.
I receive donation requests on occasion from Boehner. I write on them: "Tell Boehner to dry his eyes, get a spine implant, and grow a pair." Then I send it back in their post-paid envelope.
Politico reports that even members of Congress aren’t paying their dues and that Boehner is upset by this.
(apparently dues for a Congresscritter starts at $32,500)
The promise of those HOR candidates was that with enough conservatives, they'd do their job and not fund Obama's destruction of the US. They have yet to keep the promise, even once.
And they're still at it. Why haven't they passed funding to send the hordes of central americans home, but no other funding for this crisis? Could it be their Chamber of Commerce sponsors want the cheap labor?
They are powerless now.
Conservatives are powerless either way.
Conservatives are only powerless if they keep chanting to themselves that they are powerless. Write to your reps, go to your local newspapers and scream and howl, and you’ll get results - that is, if you have GOP representation. You may not get everything, but you’ll get something and also you’ll be preparing the way for the next candidate, who may have more support and be more successful.
Sometimes conservatives don’t get elected because of GOP-e cheating (Mississippi) but most of the time they don’t get elected simply because they don’t have enough votes. Get more.
But remember that you’re totally powerless only if you have a Dem in office.
For Pete’s sake, why be so passive and negative? Does the Dem Party pay people to flood this site with hopelessness and negativity?
