Dems Trounce House GOP In Grass-Roots Donations
Breitbart ^ | July 11, 2014 | Mike Flynn

Posted on 07/12/2014 9:31:25 AM PDT by Hostage

The DCCC, the campaign arm for Rep. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, has raised $22 million more than the House GOP for the fall elections. That result is surprising enough, as Democrats' minority status gives them little political leverage in the House. More surprising, though, is that Democrats have raised almost three times as much money, $46 million v. $17 million, as Republicans from small-dollar grass roots donors. The political landscape and recent polling would suggest the opposite situation.

When a political party actively suppresses its grass-roots base, why would the expect money to keep flowing.

The dems only surreptitiously suppress their base (keeping them on the plantation, as it were).

The amorphous TEA Party is no longer donating to Toky Rove's RINO PACs. They are donating directly to conservative candidates to make sure that their money goes to the intended target.

No more complicated than that.

Can I donate online without giving my zip or country?

Tell them to go beg for support from George Soros and Warren Buffett.

The GOP has no base outside the country clubs where the little people aren’t allowed.

Also, when has the GOP delivered anything to its base? They constantly sell the base out and make excuses, hiding behind legalism or some other rationale like moving toward the middle. The Left consistently delivers, laws and consequences be damned.

Burn the Republican party down, toss out its wimp incumbents, create a new party that is as Conservative as the Democrats are Liberal.

This shows the results of Karl Rove, and his stinking establishment schemes.

People are fed up with the Republican Party, and I believe are doing as we here at the ranch are, and that is sending our contributions directly to those we support.

To ‘H’ with the Republican Party. They want to put yours, and my money behind those that support exactly what we as American citizens don’t want, or need, AND they flip the wee birdie in our faces as they do so.

Duh!

I haven’t donated to either the House or Senate Committees since 1998 when they, under Gingrich, went squishy.

But, I, like many others, have targeted our donations to individual candidates and so the differential with the demonrats probably isn’t as great.

Looks like the “grassroots” is too dumb to realize that it’s a numbers game. We lose the House, and Pelosi is back in power.

Aside from that, however, the Dem definition of grass-roots is pretty broad - even including unidentified foreign contributions.

Never, never, never give to the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) or the Republican National Committee (RNC).

All three groups are RINO’s who will use your money to target, malign and defeat conservatives.

They are our enemies.

Donate directly to good candidates.

I am a member of the NRA but have let them know that I will give no extra money when they continue to support demonRATs like harry reid.

We have a local TEA party and I throw a twenty into the hat when I attend a local event, but no money to groups that I don't know.

We continually hear that a third party would be a disaster. But, it looks like the conservative grassroots may force the issue. The GOP may still be able to shake down big donors and corporations for campaign cash, but the grassroots is where the votes are. The creation of a real conservative third party may be a foregone conclusion as people like me will not lower our standards and contribute to the likes of Boehner, McCain, Graham and the rest of the sell-outs.

In the next presidential election, I will not vote for JEB!, Willard or any other one-world phony, even if they name Jesus Christ as their running mate. I'll write-in Ted Cruz, Ben Carson or Ted Nugent.

Who cares if the republicans take the house if they act just like democrats. This is not baseball, where we root for our team, do or die. If the republican party no longer represents its base, if it is nothing more but the second string for the other side, then why bother? With the republicans we have in power now, we have no representation at all. They will cave to obama as usual, and do nothing. You watch, they will give obama his 3 billion to do with as he pleases.

Without the Republicans we have in power now, bad as they may be - and I agree, most of them are bad - we wouldn’t have any ability to oppose Obama legislatively or any ability to oppose his appointments. If we lose the majority in the House, it doesn’t matter how pure and conservative the remaining members are, because they’re powerless.

Same in the Senate. I hoped the GOP would get a majority, but I doubt that it’s going to happen now.

Of all the races (~465) this November, we’re hearing very little polling... if the Rats’ internals showed them picking up seats, they’d be bullhorning from the mountaintops to depress the R turnout.

They’re not, they’re desperately begging for money to conduct
the voter fraud necessary.

Also, when has the GOP delivered anything to its base?

The promise of those HOR candidates was that with enough conservatives, they'd do their job and not fund Obama's destruction of the US. They have yet to keep the promise, even once.

And they're still at it. Why haven't they passed funding to send the hordes of central americans home, but no other funding for this crisis? Could it be their Chamber of Commerce sponsors want the cheap labor?

Conservatives are only powerless if they keep chanting to themselves that they are powerless. Write to your reps, go to your local newspapers and scream and howl, and you’ll get results - that is, if you have GOP representation. You may not get everything, but you’ll get something and also you’ll be preparing the way for the next candidate, who may have more support and be more successful.

Sometimes conservatives don’t get elected because of GOP-e cheating (Mississippi) but most of the time they don’t get elected simply because they don’t have enough votes. Get more.

But remember that you’re totally powerless only if you have a Dem in office.

For Pete’s sake, why be so passive and negative? Does the Dem Party pay people to flood this site with hopelessness and negativity?
