Dems Trounce House GOP In Grass-Roots Donations
Breitbart ^ | July 11, 2014 | Mike Flynn

Posted on 07/12/2014 9:31:25 AM PDT by Hostage

The DCCC, the campaign arm for Rep. Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats, has raised $22 million more than the House GOP for the fall elections. That result is surprising enough, as Democrats' minority status gives them little political leverage in the House. More surprising, though, is that Democrats have raised almost three times as much money, $46 million v. $17 million, as Republicans from small-dollar grass roots donors. The political landscape and recent polling would suggest the opposite situation.

When a political party actively suppresses its grass-roots base, why would the expect money to keep flowing.

The dems only surreptitiously suppress their base (keeping them on the plantation, as it were).

Like the sex addicted, some people can’t see past the Boehner (pun intended).

Those small donations from grassroots conservatives add up!

The amorphous TEA Party is no longer donating to Toky Rove's RINO PACs. They are donating directly to conservative candidates to make sure that their money goes to the intended target.

No more complicated than that.

My mom used to be give to the GOP pretty frequently, but when she gets their solicitations in the mail these days she scrawls “Tea Party” on the form and sends it back.

Let me guess... there was a large proportion of Chinese dishwashers donating money?

Soros must be running his check printing machines on overdrive for the mid-terms.

Can I donate online without giving my zip or country?

I’m keeping my “rasis” wallet closed. Maybe the GOP could take up a collection from Barry’s “Kids” living in their new $6054 dollar per month digs.

The GOP Grassroots is the Tea Party. The GOP doesn’t want us around so they can do without our money.

Tell them to go beg for support from George Soros and Warren Buffett.

The GOP has no base outside the country clubs where the little people aren’t allowed.

Also, when has the GOP delivered anything to its base? They constantly sell the base out and make excuses, hiding behind legalism or some other rationale like moving toward the middle. The Left consistently delivers, laws and consequences be damned.

Burn the Republican party down, toss out its wimp incumbents, create a new party that is as Conservative as the Democrats are Liberal.

I can’t envision a scenario where I would ever donate to the GOP again.

This is what is causing Hillary’s book sales to suffer. It looks like she is going to have to continue being “broke”.

This shows the results of Karl Rove, and his stinking establishment schemes.

People are fed up with the Republican Party, and I believe are doing as we here at the ranch are, and that is sending our contributions directly to those we support.

To ‘H’ with the Republican Party. They want to put yours, and my money behind those that support exactly what we as American citizens don’t want, or need, AND they flip the wee birdie in our faces as they do so.

Yep, trash the Tea Party and this is what happens. I do not donate to the GOPe. I donate directly to those candidates I support.

Duh!

I haven’t donated to either the House or Senate Committees since 1998 when they, under Gingrich, went squishy.

But, I, like many others, have targeted our donations to individual candidates and so the differential with the demonrats probably isn’t as great.

It's easy to donate to the candidates of your choice on the internet...and that's what I'm doing and so are a lot of others.

No more donations to GOP.

Have another shot of Jack Daniels, Monsieur Boehner.

I'm so impressed with this that I may use it as a tagline for a while.

This statistic is somewhat skewed because it doesn’t take into account people like me who donate directly to the candidates. I will never donate to the GOPe again.
