President Obama and HealthCare.gov are in the running for an Emmy this awards season.

Obama’s satirical interview with comedian Zach Galifianakis on the web series “Between Two Ferns” was nominated Thursday for an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment category.

We have now officially entered a time where reality is sillier than anything Mark Twain or Will Rogers could come up with.

As an aside, I wonder what honor the boy-king will get next. Perhaps Putin will find an old Order of Lenin medal laying around, and award it to Obama. That would be nice.

Yes - this Obamacare mess and his yucking it up he absolutely deserves credit for. Credit - blame - whatever. This FOX story is 1 day old- Two days ago The Washington Post offered a CORRECTION: Earlier versions of this post indicated that President Obama was nominated for the Emmy award. Only the producers of the segment were nominated. Scott Aukerman, Zach Galifianakis, BJ Porter and Mike Farah) were nominated for the award. But if The President had been nominated and won the trophy on August 25, it would have been his third entertainment award. President Obama won Grammy Awards for best spoken word album for 2008′s “The Audacity of Hope” and 2006′s “Dreams from My Father.”
