Five days after the launch of Operation Protective Edge, Israel’s effort to put a halt to Hamas rocket fire, some 600 rockets had been fired from Gaza at Israel. Rockets fired throughout Saturday targeted communities near the Gaza Strip as well as Beersheba, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Rehovot and Rishon Lezion. Hamas launched a major assault on central Israel in late evening. An American tourist died of a heart attack after sirens wailed in Jerusalem. Palestinian reports say at least 150 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes, including more than 15 in a strike late Saturday aimed at Hamas’s Gaza police chief. Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Ron Dermer, says strong diplomatic support from Israel’s international partners will be conducive to reaching a cease-fire in Gaza.

Israel needs to quit farting around with these reprobates and just go on in and kick their sorry asses and drive them across the Sinai and into the Red Sea.
Why is it we only ask for a cease fire once Israel begins defending itself?
The answer is precedent.......
The politicians of the world have learned that asking for a cease fire when Israel has the upper hand is politically self serving. By making the demand, the pols get their name in the paper for appearing to do something. They know that Israel will continue until their current objectives are accomplished and their efforts are not going to accomplish any thing but media fodder.

Thanks 2ndDivisionVet. The Hamas-launched Iranian missiles aren’t all making it to Israel, and as they crash into Gaza, they kill Arabs. But that doesn’t fit the party-line media narrative.
To heck with playing nice with the UN or whomever, Bibi needs to put an end to this once and for all.
No... Israel would refuse that trade unless we give them the bodies of George Washington, Abe Lincoln and Ron Reagan, too... and a conservative to be named later...
