The U.S. Department of Justice has sent a member of its Community Relations Service team to investigate a Nebraska parade float that criticized President Obama. A Fourth of July parade float featured at the annual Independence Day parade in Norfolk sparked criticism when it depicted a zombie-like figure resembling Mr. Obama standing outside an outhouse, which was labeled the “Obama Presidential Library.”

Those are stock wheels from a newer F150.. the truck in the photo is 80-86 vintage, the wheels are 87-91, honestly he probably needed new tires and those where on a truck in the junk yard.. They are known for rust and the box probably fell off so they bolted on the flat bed.

What, exactly, is “racist” about an outhouse?
We have zero tolerance policy when it comes to criticizing minority politicians, albeit left wing, and maybe this is a good thing. This is why I am for us getting it right next time, and elect someone like Ben Carson, a man everyone, everywhere can respect and emulate. However, I am sure criticism of him will be tolerated by the media because he’s a conservative, but then again I might be wrong.

I believe that those wheels are OEM. Most likely off of a later model Ford of the early to mid 90’s vintage rather than the 1982 wheels that came on the truck.

Poor communication on my part. Though I did use the word “updated”, the “not at all stock” referred to the production of the truck itself, but I now see that those words could easily be construed to indicated that they are not Ford production wheels, which they indeed are.
