I can’t think of any other reason why the Conservative patriots in power in Washington are
doing absolutely nothing to stop the destruction and dismantling of our country and all we
hold near and dear. What else could it be? It’s the Chicago-gangster way writ large.

I’m not sure either. I do think one big thing stopping them is the racist label that would be applied to anyone trying to impeach or otherwise remove the dictator-like powers that our _resident has assumed. They feel it would label them forever as a racist and make reelection difficult....JMHO

Could be... Either way, they’re cowards.

I’m glad that they weren’t here during the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence.
They wouldn’t have the courage or patriotism to risk “their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred
honor.” Well, having no sacred honor, they toss that right out the window anyway.

And the “Shot Heard ‘Round the World?” Never would have happened, and we’d be a British
colony today, assuming we don’t become a Muslime caliphate. Oh, did I misspell “Mudslime?”

My bad.

Best PM in my lifetime (and that’s fairly long). I love the guy. My long time tag line says it all.

The population of Canada is situated where the arable land is and where navigable rivers are. For the most part, Canada was settled before people moved en mass to the cities and society everywhere was primarily agrarian - farmer folk.

The arable land is along the southern border. Further north is solid bedrock with a thin layer of soil on top where our boreal forest grows. In this region forestry and mining is are major economic activities, but agriculture is impossible. There are small single industry towns and cities in that area, but not great metropolises. Population is very sparse with long empty spaces in between.

Further north of that is tundra and permafrost where it`s too damned cold for anything to grow.

Further north still is polar ice caps, also not conducive to large populations. About the only thing it`s good for is polar vortexes. ;-p

Thanks.
I guess I'll stay away from those polar vortexes.

The polar vortexes come after you. You can’t stay away from them.

Oh dear. We did have snow here once. It was a dusting of the white stuff and stayed on the ground for 15 whole minutes. We all took pictures of it, so rare it was.

We DO get down into the upper forties during the coldest of winters and up to the upper 60's in the heat of the summer. But this is the West Coast of this great country and that is the climate.

We had 10 million folks here when I was growing up. Then, we had 48 million at the most but are "down" to 38.04 million (2012) from Google numbers.

Still TOO MANY people here!! I always hear from the newbies how WUNNERFUL the Midwest is for rearing children but...those folks go south for the winter if they can afford it OR MOVE to the West Coast if they can't.

Lol. Life is good.

The only month I haven’t seen snow is July. GRRRRRRR! Or should that be BRRRRRRR! The hottest I’ve seen is +40C (104 F) and the coldest was -58 F. I mostly stay inside.

Yes, we sure can use him again.

It’s getting ridiculous here. They just took 3.5k in taxes off my last cheque. I mean what on earth am I paying for? It infuriates me that they steal so much, and yes, it is stealing.

We need tax reform here too. A flat sales tax on items you purchase of no more than 10%.
