A conservative Tennessee lawmaker running against Sen. Lamar Alexander told Newsmax TV on Monday that the incumbent is siding with the Republican Party's big-business wing in the debate over illegal immigration — and that means promoting amnesty for millions of illegal aliens.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, working in conjunction with Alexander and other Republican senators, "has determined that we need an oversupply of labor so we can suppress wages," state Rep. Joe Carr, a candidate with tea party support, told "MidPoint" host Ed Berliner.
Congress is debating the president's emergency $3.7 billion request to cope with illegal immigrants who are arriving in overwhelming numbers, leading to what many observers have called a full-fledged humanitarian crisis.
Republican allies of big business, including Alexander, aren't about to let a good crisis go to waste, Carr says.
"The reason the establishment in D.C. — the establishment Republicans in D.C. — want this to go away [as a political problem] is because the United States Chamber of Commerce is yanking their chain on this particular issue," said Carr.

You are probably correct and if we actually had a two party system, the non-democrat party would be repeating what Joe Carr said every time the MSM shoved a microphone in their face — libs want illegals here to drive down wages.
Lamar has to answer to Satan like all the rest.
Alexander made all his money in shady deals and no-show “jobs”. In one deal he invested $1 and a few years later received a $640,000 return on his investment. His past is full of sweetheart deals like this one.
“Big business” wing: is there really any other?
All they have to say is “Lamar!”, and TN people get all giddy.

It’s not “Beat Lamar” that attracts TN people, but “Lamar!”
If Carr can get the message out and expose Lamar’s amnesty support, that natural comfort they have had will flip fast.
You can bet your life on that Cotton, they want the RINO lamar. Oath breaker 2 terms and out. His cloture vote unleashed 0’care on us. His Military Pension Cut vote harmed every retired Military person in the USA.
He does not tell you he draws a pension for being governor of TN, that he does not remember where TN is except during election cycle.

I’m new to Tipton County politics, so other than Carr and Bricco, I am voting blind this year. I’ve heard enough about Moody, to make the decision she is not the person I want in that seat.
