I disagree with the entire premise of this stuff.
They are saying that people have certain “urges” or “orientations” or “desires”. We may all feel things which we don’t act on.
A good example would be men’s desires towards women. A man may have desire towards women other than his wife, but, a moral man who respects his wife and others, will not act on this. Even Jimmy Carter once addressed this issue, saying he committed adultery in his heart. But not in reality.
But bear with me. We all may feel desires of various types, but, and this is a big but, it doesn’t mean we should act on those desires, or have some constitutional right to do so.
In this case, the impacts of child molestation, rape, etc. and the fact that these are not cases of consenting adults doing things, should override all attempts to normalize/legalize pedophilia. Just my opinion. I’m sure NAMBLA types take strong issue with that.
Shhhhh, they’ll want to normalize raping another man’s wife next.
