This Candidate Has A History Of Taking On The Obama Administration
Hear what Dan Sullivan, the U.S. Senate candidate from Alaska, had to say
In this week's "On the Campaign Trail" podcast, we are joined by Former Alaska Attorney General Dan Sullivan. Dan discusses his campaign for U.S. Senate in Alaska where he hopes to be the Republican nominee to unseat incumbent Democratic Senator Mark Begich.
Dan has dedicated his life to serving Alaska and America. He has served on active duty and in the reserves in the U.S. Marine Corps for 20 years as an infantry officer. As Alaska's Attorney General and Commissioner of the Department of Natural Resources, he protected Alaskans, promoting energy security and economic opportunity, and fighting against the Obama Administration's overreach.
In this Podcast, he talks about the ongoing VA scandal, Obamacare, the EPA, energy issues, overregulation, and the "rule of law."
You are really going to enjoy this interview with a candidate that is a Marine Lt. Colonel.
2014 is going to be a huge election year as we fight to hold onto the House and are poised to take the gavel out of Harry Reid's hands and take control of the Senate. It is important that we enter 2014 prepared and informed. Here is your chance to get to know one of the outstanding U.S. Senate candidates, Dan Sullivan.
"On the Campaign Trail" is a weekly podcast that features interviews with House and Senate candidates as well as Tea Party leaders to provide voters with a regular discussion of important political issues and campaigns.
A new Tea Party Express podcast will be available every Tuesday on the Tea Party Express website HERE or it is available by subscription on both RSS and iTunes.
Sullivan, despite early stumbles, seems to be the frontrunner. Might be one of the few candidates across the country worth voting for in the general election, and there are VERY few.
Here's some more information from TPX:
We really need to win thisWe have to get Reid out of the Catbird seat! We're losing our country because good people are being silenced. Harry Reid has ruled the Senate with an iron fist and has not allowed our voices to be heard. It's time for that to end, and it's up to us to make sure it happens.
We've been working day and night to develop a strategy to take back the Senate and rip the gavel out of Harry Reid's hands. If you want to be a part of this fight, please join us today.
PRIORITY 1In order to defeat Harry Reid and take control of the U.S. Senate, we're going to need to pick up 6 seats. That's not going to be easy, but here's 7 states that give us our best opportunity:We're going to have to fight our tails off to flip these seats, and we've already started. It's about engaging the grassroots and spreading the word. Our bus tours are bringing out voters and making a difference on the ground. However, we're up against Harry Reid and the Democratic machine that will do whatever necessary to make sure they stay in power.
Tea Party Express' Executive Director, Taylor Budowich, sent you an important email last week that you may have missed. Our goal is to take back the Senate and end Harry Reid's reign once and for all! However, we need your help.
Taylor's email was about 7 of the most competitive races we are currently involved in, but I want to tell you real quickly about two I have been keeping a close eye on: Iowa and Michigan.
We've already spent some time in both states- our candidate in Iowa, Joni Ernst, who was also endorsed by Gov. Sarah Palin, won her primary last month. Both states however have very competitive liberal Congressman running: Bruce Braley (IA) and Gary Peters (MI). These guys are running brass knuckle campaigns and they've come out of the corner swinging. In order to defeat Harry Reid, we can't just play on our turf- we need to take the battle straight to the Democrats' golden boys. It's going to take a big effort by the grassroots if we're going to build up the conservative Tea Party momentum.
