Any word about the unshot dog? Did it end up killing the cop and going on a deadly rampage since it got to complete whatever it was doing?
Don't be silly, he's a cop, it was a dog. What more justification do you need? Sadly, not sarcasm.

They also don’t pursue criminals through dog ridden back yards, at least not to my knowledge.
And as a reminder, as a cop, I never shot a dog. Beat several in the head with garbage can lids, kicked a few to get them off my leg and put many a fence between me and them in the pursuit of my duties, but never shot on. LOL!
Why wasn’t the cop applying emergency medical care to the little boy he shot?
Those dog shootings are simply warning shots.

Well that make everything ok, missed the dog and a kid got shot so where is the problem, the cop when home safe and that’s all that matters.
Maybe the kid was biting the dog and the cop thought he was next in line so he shot at the kid and the dog, just to be safe. Should he have shot them twice? Seems the kid is still around.
