Netanyahu: ‘If there is no ceasefire in Gaza, our answer is fire’
The Jerusalem Post ^ | Wednesday, July 16, 2014 | Herb Keinon

The security cabinet met late on Tuesday night to determine the next steps in Operation Protective Edge, at the end of a topsy-turvy day that started with the prospect of a cease-fire and ended with dozens of Hamas rockets hitting Israel and intense retaliatory attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Before convening the security cabinet, which some 12 hours earlier had approved a cease-fire brokered by Egypt that Hamas never accepted, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Israel would answer Hamas’s rejection of a truce with stepped-up attacks.

“If there is no cease-fire, our answer is fire,” Netanyahu said, adding that Hamas chose to continue the battle and “will pay the price for that decision.”

Earlier in the day, the prime minister recommended to the security cabinet that it accept a relatively vague Egyptian proposal that called for a 48-hour cease-fire, to be followed in Cairo by the Egyptian government acting as the middleman in negotiations between Israel and Hamas to secure a longer-term agreement.

Israel accepted the proposal for a cease-fire to begin at 9 a.m., but Hamas did not and continued raining rockets down on Israeli cities and towns. Six hours later, at 3 in the afternoon, Israel resumed military action.

Sorry to disappoint you in your dreams of Israel committing war crimes. Israel simply doesn’t do that, when it is going after Hamas and other Islamic Terrorist operatives. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave specific orders to the IDF to avoid any Palestinian civilian collateral damage, and they are doing this - while going after Hamas and their operatives to the maximum extent possible. Israel knows how to distinguish between the two.

Civilization has a clear and identifiable enemy: the entire mooselimb world. Destroying the enemy is not a war crime. It’s justice.

The enemy is clearly identified in Israel and by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as Hamas and their Islamic Terrorist operatives. He definitely does not define the enemy as the Palestinian civilians. He’s given orders for the IDF to avoid collateral damage to these Palestinian civilians.

Sorry to disappoint you about Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Metanyahu.

Well we see things differently but here's everything I need to know about muzzies and I don't distinguish between so-called "civilians" or otherwise. They're jihadists and pose an existential threat to Christians and Jews.

Star Traveler is a troll. He is trying to set you up so that when Arab noncombatants are killed or wounded as collateral damage because they are human shields, he will try to trick you into condemning Israel.

I think you’re confusing me with some other person. You’ll find my support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel to be far beyond what you’ve seen elsewhere.

I actually explain exactly what Israel and Netanyahu are all about and why Israel and Netanyahu do the things that they do ... like why Netanyahu accepted the cease-fire from Egypt.

You appear to be quite ignorant in these circumstances ... :-) ...

I am not confusing you with anyone. You present leftist strategies and perspectives as though they are conservative.

I never doibted Shimon Peres’s love for Israel but since the 1950s he has been one of the worst things to happen to that country. I don’t doibt for a minute that Daniel Gordos loves Israel but when he weites an editorial imposing collective guilt on Israel for the murder by three individuals of one 16-year-old Arab boy — despite universal condemnation of that act — then he is misperceiving the situation.

The women in green and Peace Now’s Oppenheimer no doubt believe that they are doing what is best for Israel. They are not.

When you try to change opinion here by presenting leftist viewpoints as conservative ones or imply that they are the only legitimate arguments to be raised, then you act like a typical leftist by shittong down devate and your behavior is inimical to that of any free republic.

Who voted in Hamas? Palestinian civilians as I recall...and they would do it again. Seems to me you can’t kill weeds without killing the root.

The impending war in the Middle East will be a major and destructive war, called the Psalm 83 War. Israel is prophesied to win that war, although at major cost. She will emerge as an economic and world super power.

Psalm 83 involves Israel's closer border enemies. After this war, the large War of Gog and Magog will occur.

The Arab confederacy of Psalm 83 is probably this:

Psalm 83 Coalition: Tents of Edom = [decedents of Esau] Palestinian Refugees and Southern Jordanians
Ishmaelites = Saudi Arabians
Moab = Palestinian Refugees and Central Jordanians
Hagrites = Egyptians
Gebal = Northern Lebanese
Ammon = Palestinian Refugees and Northern Jordanians
Amalek = Arabs South of Israel
Philista = Palestinian Refugees and Hamas of Gaza Strip
Inhabitants of Tyre = Hezbollah and Southern Lebanese
Assyria = Syrians and perhaps Northern Iraqis included Children of Lot = Moab and Ammon

They will all be defeated and destroyed by the army of Israel:

Jeremiah 49:2 But the days are coming, "declares the LORD," when I will sound the battle cry against Rabbah of the Ammonites [Ammon, Jordan]; it will become a mound of ruins, and its surrounding villages will be set on fire. Then Israel will drive out those who drove her out," says the LORD.

Jeremiah 49:8 Turn and flee, hide in deep caves, you who live in Dedan [Saudi Arabia], for I will bring disaster on Esau at the time I punish him [Southern Jordan].

Jeremiah 49:19 "Like a lion [confederacy of Esau] coming up from Jordan's thickets to a rich pastureland [Israel], I will chase Edom from its land in an instant. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? Who is like me and who can challenge me? And what shepherd can stand against me?"

The war may involve the destruction of the city of Damascus (in a single day) as prophesied in Isaiah 17.

The US will descend into chaos as its economy is destroyed, its borders wiped out, and the heavy hand of Martial Law imposed in false promise to "restore order."

The rest of the world will start organizing into "states" or "kingdoms." They will look to a strongman, a man with a plan, who will lead the world out of the mess it is in. Israel, who is now prosperous, rebuilding their Temple, and behind safe borders (finally) will be the subject of their hatred, jealousy, and anger.

It's just conjecture on my part and on those whom I have recently read.

There is a great book by Bill Salus on the subject:

The Gog and Magog War would then be much wider and larger.

I always found it strange that the US, the world's largest military and economic superpower, was not mentioned in these end times events.

Now we know.

Obama, the media, and leftists, the homosexuals, the abortionists, the Democrats, the Socialists, and the race hustlers all conspired to destroy our nation - and succeeded.

“Sorry to disappoint you in your dreams of Israel committing war crimes.”

Read the Koran before posting on this subject, lest you further embarrass yourself.

Islam is a war cult totally dedicated to conversion of the entire world to Islam or to the enslavement or killing of all non-Muslims anywhere on earth.

Had you known of Boethius, you would have known of the long accepted legitimacy of preemptive war.

As Islam allows for no other religion, Islam must be destroyed before it destroys us.

Happy reading.

The graphic of the map of Israel should say “borders”, not “boarders”. Reduces the intended impact.
