IMHO legal right to abortion has kept the Dem ranks down, do the GOP really want them to keep and raise their kids to be future Dem voters if abortion is made illegal? Old Tzu Strategem, let your enemies keep doing stupid things. Ever saw the video of the liberal girl who attacked a group of pro Life people and display on a street in Ohio. Imagine if she was forced to keep her out of wedlock child. Imagine what that child be like if she with her facist liberal attitude raised it to adult hood. Or worst has several out of wedlock babies and raised them up to be like her facist liberal mindset. Let your adversaries kill their young, just remember to keep yours and raise them to love their unborn. This is a disturbingly pro-abortion and pro-eugenics position.

It also is a pretty common assumption, with some merit.
But here is the problem. It assumes that ones political views are almost 100% genetic, and we need to limit the reproduction of people with the “wrong” views.
Freakonomics made the same argument. The whole of the Dem party platform is based on it.
Except people can and do change. My wife’s family were hard core Democrats (all Catholics in her area had to be). She has never voted for the Dems.

That is the faulty argument of the morally squishy leftist, have-their-cake-and-eat-it-too crowd.
All babies in the womb are innocent, and a lot of people who were raised by Democrats (ahem,
cough) came to realize that Godly Conservatism is the only way to live a decent life.
My husband and I were both red diaper babies, and now we are both staunch Conservatives.
How wrong our parents were.
