President Barack Obama will likely have to send National Guard troops to the southern U.S. border to assist Border Patrol agents with the influx of illegal immigrants crossing into the country, said Rep. Adam Kinzinger.
"At the end of the day, the president's probably, if he really wants to solve the border crisis, at least in the short term, is probably going to have to deploy National Guard soldiers to alleviate what the Border Patrol's having to do," the Illinois Republican told "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday.
Kinzinger said the Obama administration needs to ensure that the Department of Defense has "all of the resources it needs" to handle the border crisis, since cuts have been made to the military's budget. He said the military is already "carrying a share of this burden" because of the thousands of illegal immigrants who are being housed at bases.

It is sad that so many Americans that I consider patriots still haven’t figured out Obumbles. What does he have to do...drive a taxi...go pick them up south of the border and drop ‘em off in this guy’s front yard? I mean...seriously!
He may send the NG, but their orders will be to escort the “children” to the holding facilities and NOT to turn back the invasion.

If this has the tiniest grain of truth to it, the NG will be deployed as escorts to the nearest assembly center. There is no way on the face of the earth they will be employed to prevent entry. The roiling of the populace this whole thing has created is perhaps 0bama’s greatest win yet.

Obama doesn’t need to send the National Guard to the border. Just don’t prevent the state governors from sending the National Guard to the border.
Could the House fund the states to pay the guard in their states by-passing the federal government ?
He tried to pull dirty trick on the American people by manufacturing a disaster on the border and he has miscalculated and his plan has backfired in the worst sort of way.
In the end , it came down calling out DHS riot patrols to force Americans to accept the illegal invasion or to the use the National Guard to secure the borders.
Obama actually choose to use the riot police against the American people but Law Enforcement community refused to execute Obama’s unlawful and unconstitutional orders so he has lost the issue.
NewsMax must be desperate to put that headline above that statement.
To restrain Border Patrol agents who might be hindering the invasion.

Yep, he’ll use the NG to improve the efficiency by which he can take in the invaders and move them to the interior.
I think you’re right. Obama wants to make sure illegals come in... some in the border guard are starting to stand up to this insane President... they’re starting to question is motives...
I believe you’re right; the National Guard is under the control of state governments.
