Yes, they might understand it. Then they would summarily reject it because it doesn't fit their agenda. The Progressive Movement demands lockstep fealty to the cause.

They are willing to sacrifice their fellow Americans liberties and freedoms, by allowing an illegal invading force, for the security of a powerful progressive government, run by them, while trampling on our Constitution.
