Posted on 07/16/2014 12:44:12 PM PDT by Hostage
On July 15, Chris McDaniel won a Mississippi lower state court order to see the poll books in Jackson County. McDaniel is trying to show that the number of voters who voted in the Democratic primary of June 3, and then voted in the Republican run-off primary on June 24, exceeds the number of votes by which McDaniel lost the run-off primary. See this story. Jackson County contains Pascagoula. It is the fifth most populous county in the state.
MS has 82 counties. 60 counties have cooperated on their own volition to allow McDaniel to review the election materials. McDaniel's lawyer have had to file writs of Mandamus on 20 counties. So far they have won 3 and are waiting for a decision due any moment now from the MS Supreme Court regarding Harrison County.
McDaniel's lawyers at a press conference today said there is more than enough evidence to challenge the election and they will be challenging the election.
Go, Chris, GO!!
Please ping the MS list, thank you.
Good! Even if they win in the end, fight them! Lay their schemes and crimes bare!
Chris is EXACTLY what the country needs in Washington and everywhere. Never ever ever give up! Never Surrender!
Do you have a link to the report on that press conference? It might deserve its own thread.
I REALLY admire Chris’ keeping the pressure on, here.. I hope someone like Donald Trump is funding his efforts, because these investigations are not cheap.
Good. He should keep fighting for the people that supported him — real republicans — not the ones baited by race or paid $15.
Yes I have the link. It was a live stream and I thought too that it needed its own thread but the lawyer’s presentations were so compelling that I could not tear myself away to set up a separate thread.. The live stream is shut down now but a recording may come back. Here’s the live stream link:
Google Shaun McCutcheon. He’s a big gun who stepped into this travesty in a big way this past Monday.
Thad Cochran delenda est.
Exactly! Win or lose, expose the corrupt state and national GOP officials
who broke the law.
Fight On for ol’ SC
Our men Fight On to victory.
Our Alma Mater dear,
looks up to you
Fight On and win
For ol’ SC
Fight On to victory
Or, the Fresno State Bulldogs’ challenge: `Anyone. Anywhere. Any time.’
Go Chris! Beat `em like a bad piece a meat!
Thanks for keeping us up to speed on these goings on.
The press conference was a shocker. The McDaniel lawyers have said there is so much corruption they have documented more than 10,000 pages of it and are reviewing it, organizing it and will be giving a copy to the press.
they will be informing the US Attorney’s office, the MS AG, the FEC of the depth and breadth of the corruption which is astounding.
in many counties where access was granted, in precinct after precinct after precinct they found scores more votes than were signed in on the signing sheets. That’s called the ballot box.
The McDaniel lawyers, ages in their 40s and 50s, said they had heard all their lives of the good ole boy system of fraud in elections, of stuffed ballot boxes, of fake absentees, of double and triple voting and on and on and on, but they emphasized they had never believed it until now that they are up close and personal to it. They have now seen it and they are going to be taking it all the way to Washington.
So much more at the press conference to disseminate. Please everyone try and find a video copy of today’s press conference.
In other news, the whole extended Barbour and Cochran families just boarded a Gulfstream G450 for an extended vacation in Belize.
Hey Hostage, thanks for the updates and work you have done!
Expose the lawbreakers in MS! Send them to jail!
If I was them I wouldn’t come back because I would build gallows on the Mall ready to hang them when they return.
I can imagine McConnell should be saying to the Cochran-Barbour gang “can I go with you?”. That one is responsible for hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars going to Mississippi to buy the election fraud.
I can’t wait to see how many ineligible votes they find. I’ll guess way more than 6800.
Have you seen the breaking news of the FEC filings that confirm how so many US Senators and establishment PACs including Rove’s and also Bloomberg gave to the Mississippi organization that ran the race-baiting ads and paid to get out the democrat votes?
We all knew it was so but the FEC filings now confirm it.
Good report, Hostage.
Yep. I’ve seen it. But I knew when Mitch McConnell raised money for
Cochran, that money went to fund racist ads and vote buying. However,
now there is hard proof of it.
Win or lose, expose the GOP fraudsters!
The GOP could learn a lot from Chris McDaniel. This man is a fighter to his core! He never ever ever gives up!
And he keeps his composure throughout.
Watch and Learn GOP!
McDaniel lawyer: Expect runoff challenge within 10 days
Chris McDaniel’s Lawyer Explains Why Thad Cochran’s Black Voter Outreach
“Took Mississippi Back 50 Years in Race Relations”
Does anyone know what Mississippi law provides for the possible scenario from here on? For instance, if McDaniel can show that illegal votes, well in excess of Cochran’s margin of victory were cast, would the remedy be a second runoff election, or would Cochran’s vote total be reduced and McDaniel declared the winner?
It would seem that if it’s proven that Cochran lost without the votes cast by voters who voted in the Dim primary and then the Republican runoff, then McDaniel should simply be declared the winner.
For the answer see the link in Post #28 and scroll down to what Mitch Tyner said.
Keep digging, Chris. You might not find the pony, but you will find the rats, rinos, and worms. Good luck, sir.

I am sure the Obama administration will get right on it, after the MSM sounds the alarm nationwide, of course.
What all too many in the GOP will learn, or have already learned, is that they don't want someone like McDaniel in the senate screwing up their lucrative and comfortable, inside-the-Beltway shell game. (Cruz and Lee and Sessions and a few others are bad enough.)
Fight! Fight! Fight!
They are going to serve it on the US Attorney and the FEC. The FEC must respond.
They are also referring to the US Senate where it now clear and confirmed that many GOP senators funded this corruption.
Tyner said a lot and I hope they can prove it all, but he didn't indicate whether the legal remedy would be to have another election, or to declare McDaniel the winner.
Gaining ground, inch by hard fought inch. The GOPe is getting scared now.
I believe he alluded to what he and his team have said in the press before, that the threshold of throwing out the election was to show enough doubt as to whether the voter’s will was faithfully reflected in the outcome. And a new election would ensue.
Another important item that was revealed today was that McDaniel will serve the fraud report on the US Attorney and the FEC. They have more than 10,000 pages of fraud uncovered.
And I still say that the evidence of fraud contains witnesses with sworn testimony of election tampering and vote buying. Such criminal evidence together with the confirmed tie-in via the FEC filing of republican establishment funding the fraud, is enough to get Cochran to resign in a plea deal that charges will not be made against him and others.
There’s also the matter of the wrongful death of Mark Mayfield whose grieving family have indicated through their spoke person they intend to sue. That ties back to Cochran direct.
This is just gettting started.
I really hope these efforts pan out, if for no other reason than to be able to point and laugh at Ann Coulter (not that there’s insufficient reason now, but I am dying for her to be proven wrong).
Too late. Already destroyed.
If destroyed, then that’s good for McDaniel. Destruction of evidence is enough to cast the election in doubt and for a court to overturn it.
I guess we just have to wait for more evidence and see what can be proven. It just seems completely unjust that if Cochran 'won' because of numerous illegalities and illegal votes, that he should have any chance of participating in another election with McDaniel. And it seems wrong that the contest for the Republican senate primary would be reopened to any new candidates.
Maybe once the alleged illegalities are specified in a legal action, we'll learn for sure what the possible legal remedies will be. Some Cochran people including Thad himself could end up with some legal problems.
I see what you mean. But until Cochran is convicted I think the state has to allow him to run again in a new election. But I don’t think he will.
This whole thing was orchestrated by “I will punch them in the nose” McConnell (referring to tea party republicans). He had a lot of help from others but he is the ringleader.
Yes I'm stuck in the middle with you,
And I'm wondering what it is I should do,
It's so hard to keep this smile from my face,
Losing control, yeah, I'm all over the place,
Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right,
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.
Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thunder’d;
Storm’d at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of Hell
Rode the six hundred.
BTW, has anyone else noticed that ole Haley Barbour, who normally can't keep his big mouth shut..has all but dropped off the radar...nary a peep..
McDaniel has been saying for two weeks that they would releasing all the info/proof today.
Now they say 10 more days
I”m not sure where all this is going now. It may wind up in court or it may drag out
for a while longer and disappear entirely. The one thing that I believe is that if McDaniel
is dragging this out and nothing is produced then he’s probably finished politically.
Don’t be disappointed in McDaniel. It’s not his fault.
The above should answer some of your concern. They literally have more than 10,000 pages and growing of documented fraud to annotate, organize and summarize. They are working around the clock 24/7 like machines.
They would of had all this done last week if it were not for Hosemann and the Barbour gang stopping the McDaniel team from reviewing the election materials as it is their right to do.
There are 82 counties in Mississippi. 60 of them have complied with the law, opened up all their materials for review and posted a deputy to keep the integrity of the review under watch, and the McDaniel team tanked each and everyone of those counties. And there are hundreds and hundreds of precincts that had to be canvassed.
Then there are 20 counties that have stonewalled and refused the McDaniel team access to the original election materials. McDaniel’s team had to file 20 lawsuits to get access to those ballot materials and they have won 3 so far and are arguing in court today for the 4th win.
Because of all the stonewalling they are causing McDaniel to lose precious time. Don’t blame him. It’s not his fault. He is making progress inch by inch. Blame the Cochran-Barbour gang and the people that answer to them and not the law.
Read the above link. You will see McDaniel is starting to turn the corner and win this fight.
I believe there will be another runoff in September.
