PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Although the Obama administration has asked Connecticut and Massachusetts to shelter some of the unaccompanied children crossing the border from Central America illegally, so far no request has come to Rhode Island.

A spokeswoman for Governor Chafee said on Wednesday that “No federal entity has reached out to the State of Rhode Island requesting assistance with housing undocumented immigrants.”

Why don’t we send them all there, give them Rhode Island? Seems a better option then inserting cancerous invader cells all over the county.

That’s because the Navy told Obama they didn’t have any ships to take the kids to Rhode Island. He went to Harvard, you know.

Well, they wouldn’t get much resistance in RI if they did. Another state that is in the toilet, moonbat Governor.

Even illegals know that Gov. Chafee is totally nuts and want nothing to do with him.

Crap. Where is the Patriarcha Mafia now that you need them?

Rhode Island. Once the home of the 1776 revolution. Now a marxist/liberal shithole led by a totally insane political hack.

Hey Linc, give the governor of Nebraska a call. Yesterday he claimed the same thing, yet illegals were still being moved in. (hint: This illegal, illicit administration lies out their azz)

Maybe the geniuses at the Department of Homeland Security think Rhode Island is the Island of Rhodes so it is not part of the United States.

I suspect they are looking for Obama’s 57 states and thinks South Dakota is south of the Mason-Dixon Line and that North Carolina is north of that line.

The illegals don't want to get stuck in Central Falls.

Why do I think of Rhode Island as populated mainly by inbred liberal bachelors?

My relatives live in Providence. Nice people but dumbassed liberals if there ever were some. Many degrees between them but not one bit of common sense or rationality.

They’d vote for a rat if it had the words “Democratic candidate” next to its picture.

My less than kind reference to the typical Rhode Islander was remembering Claiborne Pell. But I just went to his Wiki bio; eccentric chap but not a bad sort, served in WWII & the USNR, four children, & his widow died only this past April.

But it is true, is it not, that Rhode Island is historically governed by a ruling class of but a few families dating to the time of Roger Williams? Sen. Pell’s bloodlines & those of his wife were of the bluest.

The current governor is an atheistic creep. It was his father who every year introduced a bill calling for the repeal of the Second Amendment (good luck!) and waved his military medals at anyone who disagreed.

Got enough entitled `first families’ right here in South Carolina. Thank goodness they are mostly concentrated in Charleston, a city emotionally closer to New England than the rest of the South.

At one time Boston and Charleston were “sister cities” (prior to the Civil War), there are lots of similarities. Dorchester Co. in SC was named for Dorchester, a section of Boston.

Lincoln Chafee is a loon.

ESL students have been coming in to Providence schools for several years. Next year there are two new facilities to be created to accommodate more of these "students". Financial help being provided by the Diocese.

Separation of Church and state blurred . Homeland security funding going to "assist" ends up looking like charity after laundering.
