Rep. Jackie Speier, a Democrat from California's 14th District, sent out a tweet this morning that compared access to contraception to the kidnapping of hundreds of Nigerian girls by the militant group Boko Haram. Speier included an infographic from the United Nations along with the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls, which is a reference to the kidnapping of 230 girls from the Chibok Government Secondary School.

You’d think Miss Jackie would’ve acquired some sense, getting shot on the orders of Stalinist Rev. Jim Jones (alongside her boss, Rep. Leo Ryan, who didn’t survive), but she’s just as insane as the late Rev. Jim.

Who is blocking anyone’s access to contraceptives? Is refusing to pay for someone else’s contraception in fact blocking their access to contraceptives? If I won’t pay for her food, and I blocking her access to food?
