President Barack Obama said Friday that he encouraged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to minimize civilian deaths in Israel’s ground push into Hamas-ruled Gaza, while letting him know that the US supports Israel’s right to self defense
“No nation should accept rockets being fired into its borders,” Obama told reporters at the White House. The US president said he spoke by phone with Netanyahu earlier in the day, over the sounds of sirens going off in the background in Tel Aviv, and told him Secretary of State John Kerry is prepared to travel to the region.

You may be thinking about the Palestinian Authority, which does receive money and help from the USA. And that is done with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lobbying Congress in order to keep the money going to the PA. Israel actually wants that.
But Hamas is not getting money from the USA or weapons. Besides that Israel has a blockade around Gaza and any country who shipped weapons in would be blocked. Hamas has to smuggle whatever they have ... in through their tunnels. It’s not coming from the USA.
There was even an article a couple of days ago where the USA block a money transfer from Qatar to Hamas, so the USA is actively blocking this from happening.
Obama is relevant. Netanyahu needs additional Iron Dome supplies. Nkw that a national consensus has formed in Israel — even Tzipi Livni! — calling for Israel to respond aggressively, I believe that the vest way that we can help Israel is to vocally support the elimination of Hamas. Thia can only give Netanyahu strength as he pushes back against Obama’s and Kerry’s efforts to limit Israel’s objectives.
That’s not the view of Israel or Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The IDF even posts videos to SHOW THE WORLD that they go to great measures to avoid any collateral damage to Palestinian civilians.
Israel is ONLY targeting Hamas and their facilities and arms.
Hamas is a partner in the Palestinian government. The Palestinian government gets massive amounts of funding from the US. Therefore Hamas receives US government funding. Salaries of Hamas functionaries are paid by the US government-funded Palestinian Authority.
The Palestinian Authority, which receives US funds, even pays saleries of Hamas terrorists who are in Israeli prisons. It also pays death benefits to the families of dead Hamas suicide bombers and other terrorists.
As I’ve noted before and here ... Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has gone to Congress before and lobbied to keep the funds going to the Palestinian Authority because Israel wants the PA in there taking care of the civilian government (and not Israeli soldiers having to). So ... it’s completely within the permission —and also— you could say “requirement” of Israel to keep funding the PA.
What neither Israel or the USA is doing is sending money or arms to Hamas.
And those are simply the “facts of the matter”.
Israel is not dependent on the US for those supplies. But they do have contracts with the US at this time. It’s complicated.

John Brennan was running black ops from his office in the White (and now as DCI) in northern African smuggling weapons even before Benghazi. And the sole purpose was to move weapons from Libya and other locales to Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah, and Syrian rebels.

These are but two small references. Money and weapons have been smuggled to Hamas in great supply for several years now. And it is all traceable back to Brennan and Obama.
Get me any current news article (could be in the last two or three years) from a credible news agency reporting on the USA shipping arms or money to Hamas in Gaza and I’ll surely look at it and get back to you on it.
I did glance through that article you gave, but I saw nothing about Gaza or Hamas.
Aren't you familiar with John Brennan's black operations when national security adviser to Obama. One of those articles addressed that. And his goal was to deliver weapons to Hamas. Did you miss that?

But my question to you is this...where have you been on this matter.

I looked at that article and I didn’t see Hamas or Gaza in it.
But, if you’re saying that Hamas will smuggle in weapons from anyone who will provide them ... yes, we’ve always known that ... and have known that for longer than “Benghazi” has even existed as a story. They’ve gotten them from Iran, from Hezbollah, from Egypt and so on. “That” is not new news ... :-) ...
I think we’re talking about two different things here.
The stuff that I’m talking about is the USA supplying Hamas in Gaza ... and that’s what I see nothing of. But rather, what I see is the USA actually stopping money from coming into Gaza to Hamas from Qatar (posted just a few days ago). I can provide you with that link if you want.
I just posted it, but I’ll say it again ... the USA supplying Hamas in Gaza with money or armaments.
I’ve seen none of that.
