A close aide to Gov. Chris Christie sent him text messages related to fallout from the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge and later deleted them, she told a legislative committee in Trenton on Thursday.

Regina Egea, then the governor's liaison to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said the messages discussed testimony...

The intentionally divisive ones are the trolls I referred to. But I wouldn’t describe honest disagreement concerning the best way forward as divisive infighting.

>> Working together to find the best person on the issues that allows the system our forefathers created become strong and viable again is the right way.

I completely agree, but the work begins on the ground well before election season.

The hostility begins once the undesirable choices are made for Conservatives by others. The GOP’s illegal placement of Cochran is a good example of divisiveness in my opinion.

Christie Christie operates like a Republican Barack Obama. It is absurd that anyone who cares about honest government would support him as a nominee.

It seems most, if not all, GOPe perfumed princes act just like Democrats.

“The GOP’s illegal placement of Cochran is a good example of divisiveness in my opinion.”

That’s true, but if you think about the statement “I would rather keep Harry Reid”....that means I would rather the Democrats take the Senate than Cochran win, unbelievable. That would mean other seats that would go to the GOP are less important than that one seat of Cochran’s. No comparison. Getting rid of Harry Reid is the goal, or we lose in every area of America with Dems still in power....anyone who understands politics should know that.

We take the Senate and keep the House, it’s over for Obama, if there was ever a time to pull together, it’s NOW!

Our system was not designed to be PC with sing-alongs. Check the Federalist papers.

Our founders understood tyranny and that the Constitution would be under constant attack.
They foresaw the events of the 1910's 30's 50' and today.

Conservatives are finally learning that replacing a socialist who calls himself a “Democrat” with a socialist who calls himself a “Republican”
Is NOT progress.

You may want to read the Inaugural Speech above in 1985 by Ronald Reagan and pay particular attention to the story of two founding fathers...Adams and Jefferson.

Conservatives are acting like the New Democrats NOT Americans.

Fully Read Reagan’s 1985 Inaugural Speech. Pay attention to the Founders story of Adams and Jefferson, Conservatives are losing their way with this infighting, and have forgotten what our Republic was all about.

I do not like your idea of nonaggression, as in pacifism. I will never
fall prey to those ideas. We must discuss issues or be lost in the day.

I'm talking to you about the intent of the founders, not about Reagan.

Baloney. I’m older than you. I remember what so called “Republicans” did to Barry Goldwater. I have watched people like Tom Kean St, John McCain,
Chris Christie and other “Rockefeller” Republicans shred and demonize conservatives in their own party with a virulence never expressed at the political opposition.

A Quisling at your back is more dangerous than a Stormtrooper at your front.

"If it does NOT line up with God’s word, count me out."

I agree. But since you feel that way, you might want to check out Christie's views when it comes to queers. He says he thinks there's nothing wrong with being one.

Sure, you’re emphasizing the first of the two perspectives I mentioned concerning the best way forward.

I’m not sure a half-baked GOP majority in the Senate will be as effective as you’re hoping.

Jesus ate with prostitutes and sinners, so what’s your point?

Jesus went with them to their houses and ate with them,
Zacheus the tax collector...and many others...He gave them his taxes too. I am sure many Christians disagree on things like the Seventh Day Adventists are vegetarians, and Pentecostals dance in the spirit, and Baptists don’t drink or dance...however all are Christians none the less.
There is no perfect church or denomination, no perfect Christian any more than there is a perfect Conservative.

The Bible says ‘the gifts and the calling of God are without repentence’...that means if you have a talent it won’t be taken away if you are in sin, or not in alignment with everything...even if you are not redeemed. A talented singer can use that talent for the world or for God.

It’s not like anyone is going to overturn any of the laws created during this Administration, just like Roe Vs. Wade from decades ago. We need to focus on that next four years financially and militarily or the rest of our future is a moot point.

I think you miss the point, we do not need anymore democrat led Senates, period. We can’t afford it and we won’t be a Republic, if we do not stick together now. Millions on the border will be a mild crisis in the next leftist controlled Congress....this is our year to change it...2016 is too late.

Divisive talk that gives the left the chance to finish what they started...2016 is too late and never say I didn’t warn you.

I said read the example Reagan gave about the forefathers...or not...evidently you want to believe ‘whatever’ about the forefathers rather than find out the truth.

The link I gave you goes to every paper written about our American History from the Magna Carte forward. It’s a complete education in the forefathers and the Republic. GEEZ stay uniformed, if you are that stubborn. And I thought Biden...

The divisive talk comes from the political assassins who tried to kill McDaniel’s career.

Seriously, Kackikat?

Why did Jesus eat with prostitutes and tax collectors? To bring them to repentance, not to sanction their sins.

Christie has publicly said he believes homosexuality is not a sin. So if you’re going to announce that a candidate’s views have to line up with God’s word, and then dance all over the place trying to justify Christie’s outright denial of the Word, you might as well not bother.

My point is that people seem to have this false belief that political infighting
isn't supposed to happen, or some other very skewed vision of a perfect utopian Government.

Our system was set up for that very purpose and if our politicians are not fighting, watch out.
And guess what, Boehner isn't fighting the Dems. That is bad news for our Republic.

Biden? LOL!
