In the early hours of Thursday morning, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS featured a guest musical performance with vehemently anti-religious lyrics, including a line wishing the mother of Jesus wouldve had an abortion.
Kristeen Young was host Craig Fergusons guest, performing her song, Pearl of a Girl, which takes all three of the worlds major, monotheistic religions to task for allegedly repressing women.
I never knew I was a girl until they stooped to tell me, Young sang in the first verse of her song. I never knew I was disturbed until they dropped three volumes on me. But in the Bible/Torah/Quran there are really no good roles for me except concubine and wash woman. I used to be the sad one, now I just wanna stab them.

I don't think it is an accident that this song is being promoted by the entertainment industry.
Sounds like she's still a sad one. A very sad one.
She’s like that bald chick.
Not going to promote it by watching it.
You mean the totally irrelevant one? LOL
Someone alert the Muslims she trashes their faith!!! They don’t take that peacefully.
Its noose time
The presence of the Holy Spirit in God's peole on the earth is a force resisting the evil that is drooling and itching to be unleashed.
Wait until Jesus takes us outta here (I personally think it's a few decades away, but it could happen any time). Anybody that becomes a Christian after that will almost certainly be killed as the whole world will be at Satan's disposal.
If you haven't already, now's a really good time to receive Jesus and find the joy and freedom of eternal life.
Daughters of Deceased father receive same inheritance as if they were sons: Numbers 27:7
A good woman is worth more than rubies...she is also a crafts-person, a landowner, and an entrepreneur: Proverbs 31
First person to declare “HE IS RISEN!” was Mary Magdelene.
Women were included in the First Pentecost; Acts 2
Aquila and Priscilla hosted church in their home (Acts) and Priscilla is thought to be the Author of the Book of Hebrews.
(that’s just off the top of my head)
Meanwhile we have the koran endorsing slavery, rapine, and child molestation.
I don’t thing the two books are at ALL in the same league.
See post # 7. It won’t be a noose.
As anti-God songs go, that one sucks.
A better Anti-God song, IMHO would be this:
On the other side I would lean to this:
Live- I alone
Sounds like some of that new “slut music” that the “kids” are out there “twerking” to.
The truth is that, all the Christians are going to suffer. The rapture came out from the 18-19th centuries.
We better get ready to suffer for our faith in the Lord.
Back in my day, my Mom would give me the stare over the friggin monkees. We gotta be free. We gotta be free.
A very good idea. CAIR should be all over this.
Thanks for the info.
Jesus said this would happen in the Last Days
The one song that ruins an otherwise perfect album, "Skylarking".
PS, I am a woman, bass player, biker, FReeper, and music director of my church.
That’s fricken hilarious !!!!!
“Everybody needs bridges and roads to succeed”
These people are insane, literally, insane.
Like Carol Kaye!
I’m going to step out for some more beers.
When I return, I’ll be listening to the rest of that Album.
One of my heroes! ;-)
“Off the top of your head” is pretty impressive, but don’t forget Huldah, and Debra.
And Yael! She nailed the enemy Cisera’s head to the floor with a tent peg.
Kristeen Young is an idiot that never opened a Bible; seems the Scripture illiterates are always the ones throwing mud at His word.
She makes a great “victim”, doesn’t she?
Debra was a judge..and probably not a liberal one either! hahaha
“Wait until Jesus takes us outta here...”
Where ya going, Papa?
Aren’t you gonna stand against satan with the Christians?
I was trying to remember her! She was NOT wimpy.
Reminds me of something...when I was a child, I saw an “epic” movie, I think it was “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, but not entirely sure.
The woman accused (and about to be stoned) for adultery was portrayed as Mary Magdelene in the scene!!!!
(DAMN the producers of that film for the “artistic license” they took! I’ve no doubt it impacted many a youngster for years!)
You are right!
They were two different women.
Both women, however, are illustrations of Jesus’ remarkably revolutionary attitude towards women.
And another interesting thing is that in the Torah, if a man and woman were caught in adultery, they were BOTH supposed to be stoned, not just the woman. It is speculated that, when Jesus wrote in the dust of the street, He was naming names of the men who had also committed this sin.
That woman is pathetic. It is really sad when a mentally ill person is considered an artist.
Listen to the song that was bumped off of Skylarking for “Dear God”, “Mermaid Smiled”....pure poetry from Andy on that one. Todd Rundgren’s production was top notch on that whole album.
Obama and the Hate Department will see to it that Youtube destroys this video and the filmmaker is locked up before another US embassy is attacked.
Wow— He IS wisdom...(and common sense! which ain’t so common in these days.)
Thank you for this info—my best to you!
Todd Rundgren is a genius.
I lost track of him after he released “A Cappella”
Love that album
She might apologize to Muslims, not to anyone else.
I’m wondering where these women have been lately? I’m 61 years old, and frankly, have never felt ‘suppressed’ or ‘oppressed’ by my Faith. Feminists pushed this nonsense starting in the late 60s, and it ruined the orders of religious women, because they ate up this nonsense. We see them still, graying, braying old women, railing against the ‘patriarchy’. They ruined the religious life for a generation of young women, until the new orders began while John Paul II was Pope. They were not into feminism, they were truly about loving God and serving others, without a chip on their shoulders. This attitude drew young women to them, and they are thriving.
Today we suffer for our good, for the refining of our faith. But we who have received Christ and his perfect redemptive work will NEVER have to suffer his wrath because his wrath for us was already poured out on the body of Jesus Christ on the Cross 2000 years ago and it would be unrighteous and unjust for God to pour out his wrath again upon us.
[We now] wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come (1 Thess 1:10).
For God has not appointed us to wrath (1 Thess 5:9).
Nope we'll see it all from the mezzanine during and after partying in the marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:7-9). See you there.
Sure, doing it right now and will again when "the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints [including you and I] to execute judgement upon all" (Jude 14-15).
But at some point soon, we have a date with the Bridegroom Bro. There is a party and a marriage supper waiting for us that cannot be missed (Rev. 7-9). I'll see you there Bro.
Rather, when the King of Kings returns, not before at the end of the age.
First we as Christians have to suffer for Him.
But the word “rapture” is never mentioned. This is from the 18-19th centuries.
Is she wearing a Hefty trash bag for a blouse?
