At some point on Thursday evening, just after Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 blew apart over some wheat field in eastern Ukraine, Vladimir Putin had a chance to take stock of his options. There were essentially two....

Obama acts like Putin, media SILENT or PRAISES Obama.
Putin acts like Obama, media HATES on Putin.
Putin is directly responsible for the death of 298 living human beings. Putin is a war criminal.
Obama is directly responsible for...
Too much list.
Perhaps the deaths of American Veterans at home from torture (withholding medical care & medications) is enough.
Your comment incorrectly derides SloFloFreeper.
You are absolutely correct.
I made a similar comment earlier.
Focus stays the same. Putin declared war on the Ukraine. King Obama is a silent killer of many Americans, especially veterans. No difference in both in many ways. King Obama has let the free world down and he will continue to destroy America and will allow the spread of violence beyond belief in the world. America was the only real deterrent to world domination by the worst criminals the modern world has seen. There have been communists nations on this earth that have killed millions for nothing more than power and or greed. The world is headed that way again.
Obama is a tyrant.
The media supports Obama the tyrant and criticizes Putin the tyrant.
Now back to the subject of this thread.
The other option, a familiar one for Putin, would be to use the senseless loss of life as an opportunity to shift toward reconciliation. He had taken the latter approach a few years ago, in 2010, when a plane carrying Polish President Lech Kaczyński and his entourage crashed in western Russia, killing everyone on board. To the surprise of many in Poland, Putin took that tragedy as a chance to make amends, however briefly, easing the history of mistrust between the two nations.
Bunk. To this day Poland believes Putin had the plane taken out to remove the problematic West- oriented Polish government.
You allude to the problem in the Ukraine being the US’ fault (the Puppet, more specifically) yet jump on the train of castigation for Putin & Russia.
So you will complain when the US eventually does something about Mexico and Putin/Russians/World are giving the same critique of the US? Or not?
No one here will ever convince me that there is any room to waste energy on Putin and his actions on their border when they are directly analogous to actions the US should/will eventually take with Mexico.
However, the irony is that we’re both making the same points with different arguments from different sides of the table.
I misread you and will meet you halfway: Most all of your points are spot on, save for the fact I’m of the opinion we need to clean up our yard first.
The major historical difference is that Progressivism is the new Communism and it seems Warren’s being groomed to succeed the throne.
If we collectively can’t focus on the problems here at home and turn this thing in November, then ‘16 is lost and we’re hell in a handbasket. That was really the point I was making. I loathe the distractions...
