Something BIG Is Happening In Kansas (Wolf surging against Roberts)

A new poll shows conservative Dr. Milton Wolf (R-KS) surging in the Republican primary against incumbent Senator Pat Roberts.

The survey shows Roberts with only a 42-30 lead over Wolf, which is a stunning 21-point drop since the last poll taken three weeks ago!

Dr. Milton Wolf's message of limited government, personal freedom, economic liberty, and respect for the Constitution is resonating with voters.

He can win this race if the grassroots rise up and work together to inform Kansas Republicans of the choice they have on August 5th.

SCA TV Ad - "Rarely"That's why we launched a massive TV and radio ad campaign this week highlighting Senator Roberts' liberal record and troubling residency issues.

It's a good start, but it's not nearly enough.

Now that this race is tightening, the establishment will lie, cheat, and steal like they did in Mississippi — especially since it's in NRSC Chairman Jerry Moran's home state! They would be humiliated to lose in Kansas.

We need to do more to tell voters about Robert's votes for wasteful spending, bailouts, higher taxes, and more debt. And Dr. Wolf needs money to introduce himself to voters across the state and to explain his vision for the future.

Thanks to Milton Wolf, Roberts has discovered that Kansas is still where it used to be lo those many years ago when he once lived here (1957). He has broken out those old road maps and started paying visits. There have been a few mistakes, those new fangled freeways have replaced some of the old, familiar routes, but he has soldiered on rubbing elbows with the folks. Well only the big donors, large agri businesses, and aviation industry types; but they tell him everything that he needs to know.

The great thing is that he doesn’t have to do it for long. a couple of more weeks and this nonsense will be over and we will have seen the last of Roberts. He probably won’t run again, so he can bid farewell to Kansas and do whatever he wants to do in the Senate.

From you comment, which is very witty, I assume you live in KS. What’s the “feel” of this Election there?

Mississippi happened.

After seeing the Thad Cochran/Chris McDaniel fiasco and what amounted to huge vote fraud, the T.E.A. party people and energized to a degree they had not been for a while.

It’s 2010 all over again. And this time, it’s not just the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010”, it’s a complete epic fail everywhere.

There is an old Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”

I, for one, would like to dial back the “interesting” part, but that genie is out of the bottle.

The best we may hope for now is to live long enough to see some equilibrium restored to the world.

Hoping for the best — Roberts being sent “home” to Kansas by Wolf — but the liberal establishment will redouble their efforts for the incumbent as they did for Thad Cochran (fraud and all).

If that somehow fails and Wolf pulls off the major upset, you can count on the RINO establishment to spare no effort... in getting the DEMOCRAT elected to the Senate.

Kansas isn’t quite the 1-party state some think it is (Democrats *can* get elected statewide, with RINO help), and there has always been a large contingent of squishy liberals who call themselves Republicans there. Those squishes are 1000% more comfortable with liberal Democrats than they are with those scary conservative types in their own party.

Though the liberals demand conservative support when a limp dick like Roberts wins a primary, it’s totally a one-way street: the GOPe in Kansas will say to hell with party unity, and will be in full sabotage mode against Wolf in the general election if he makes it that far. Book it.

Better start running the ads saying Wolf kills and eats black children for breakfast.

Very few are paying any attention. They will vote Republican in the general election and may or may not vote in the primary depending on the local candidates. Wolf is not known, except for his facebook face plant with the forensic x-rays. Brownback is in trouble with his tax cuts as tax revenues are down while the economy and behavior adjust to little or no state income tax.

People are certainly tired of Washington, but shockingly do not see Roberts as “one of them”. He’s a Kansan, don’t you know. I suspect that he will win, but Wolf will have shifted the political landscape in the right direction and that will be a good thing.
