Netroots Nation Serenades Elizabeth Warren With Campaign Song
NewsBusters ^ | July 19, 2014 | P.J. Gladnick

The Daily Kos has come a long way since the days when  they merely rejoiced in being easily bribed at their YearlyKos conventions (now renamed Netroots Nation) by presidential aspirants such as Mark Warner who plied the Kossacks with free sushi and expensive liquor at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas in 2006. Yes, they have moved up in the world to the point where they perceive themselves as king, or rather queen, makers. Not only have they basically endorsed the presidential candidacy of Elizabeth Warren, they have even provided her with a campaign song, Run Liz Run.

Oddly enough, even though this campaign song takes note of Elizabeth Warren as a woman, there is no mention of her well known Cherokee heritage. Have they not noticed the prominent cheekbones beneath Liz's sky blue eyes? Not to worry, there is a parody Elizabeth Warren song which features that aspect of her background as we shall see but for now let us watch "Run Liz Run" right after the jump:

The funniest thing is I showed my wife the "Perry Como" segment and told her that he was a singer who suffered from complete lack of energy. She is from out of the country and never heard of him so she came close to crying while watching "Perry Como" sing. I had a hard time keeping a straight face.

Back then the chocolate fountain was a novelty. Nowadays you can find them at almost every Golden Corral.

I only lasted 43 seconds. Any longer and I would have thrown up my large intestine.

Why did they change the name of it from Yearly Kos to Netroots Nation? That is deceiving because they hardly represent a cross section of bloggers on the internet. I think we should still call it Yearly Kos so that we identify who attends that event. Its the Daily Kos crowd there, not ordinary citizens.

The Communist Pact have no right to use the Red-White-and-Blue colors.
I also noticed in the first 1/2 there was no American flags anywhere to be seen.
That alone stands out and says how much they hate America.

I didn't watch the whole disgusting video.

Best thing ever; the NutRoots are pushing for unelectable trash which will push their field more left, drains funds, drains effort, more power to them!

Go NUTROOTS!

Good grief, that was horrid.

So Billery is bombing and EW is outright nauseating.

Two and a half years to go and that is all they have.

I bet the neo-communists are starting to throw things around the room...

This would be a great campaign song for Liz:

32 seconds...before bile rose to uncomfortable levels

But I like “Cherokee Checkbox” very much! We need to get Ted Nugent to record it.

I think the Cowsills “Indian Lake” might have good parody potential as well. “Indian Fake”, of course.

So, while Hillary Clinton is spending her time delivering boring $200,000 speeches to hundreds of wealthy Democratic fools, Elizabeth Warren is traveling around the country giving rousing FREE speeches to thousands of poor and middle-class Democratic fools.

Which means the number of Elizabeth Warren’s supporters is rising exponentially compared to Hillary’s.

And since Elizabeth Warren represents Massachusetts, the state bordering New Hampshire, which holds the first and most crucial primary contest every presidential election season, she is in a good position to crush Hillary’s presidential hopes in the Granite State in 2016.

Since the Clintons know how destructive Senator Warren can be to Hillary’s candidacy, it’s unlikely they haven’t tried to bribe her by now to stay out of the race. However, the fact that she’s still in it proves she has at least some integrity.

The inevitable upcoming mud fight for the White House between two shrieking, harebrained Democratic women should be more than enough to keep the nation’s attention away from whatever relatively minor problems the Republicans might be having in the run-up to 2016.
