Feds Ask Massachusetts to House Illegal Immigrants at Unused Shopping Malls
BreitBart ^ | 7-19-2014 | Tony Lee

He said the federal government would pick up the tab.

Patrick said the illegal immigrant children will "need age-appropriate toys and books" and the "company of responsible adults, especially those who speak Spanish." He also said the state may work with the federal government, in addition to "faith and refugee organizations."

Patrick cited America's history of giving refuge to various groups fleeing famine and persecution, as well as his personal faith in deciding to propose facilities in his state to house illegal immigrants.

we have quite a number of homeless vets did fedgov approach the various governors and ask/demand housing for them?

Isn't the amount of time, concern and money being thrown at the feet of non-citizens amazing? The politicians and government agencies are rolling up their sleeves to help. They talked the same way when the VA scandal came to prominence, but never did much more than that. But some illegal aliens with no underwear? They'll do more than talk then.

You nailed it. Are shopping malls zoned for residency of any kind?

“That would be the Atrium Mall and that is an excellent suggestion. “

I’d love to read The Tab if that happened. Very supportive, but NIMBY, letters to the editor.

The plan works for me, just stuff then in there, and then O-hole can show up and do talk telling them he's on their side and how lucky they are.

The Atrium was a beautiful mall. Maybe a little too upscale even for Chestnut Hill, Most of the stores moved across the street to the “cheaper”, older Chestnut Hill Mall.

This is a VERY wealthy area, although there are lots of elderly in Chestnut Hill. I don’t think they’d be pleased.

"Patrick cited America's history of giving refuge to various groups fleeing famine and persecution"

If this was a humanitarian crisis fitting Patrick's description, what other countries have been asked or volunteered to offer assistance to these refugees?

Wealthy liberals deserve the alien invaders that have as much contempt for the rule of law like they do.

Oh wait... when stuff like that happens to liberals, they turn into NIMBYs, like on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

As far as I am concerned, they voted for the Indonesian-raised half-Kenyan, half-American in the White House. They should bear the burden of his idiotic policies.

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick (D) said that the Obama administration asked whether his state had facilities to house up to 1,000 illegal immigrant children at military bases or unused shopping malls.

How about the Boston Children's Hospital psych unit?

“Patrick cited America’s history of giving refuge to various groups fleeing famine and persecution...”

I was thinking about this just last night. Of course, as a Vet, my preference would be that my less-fortunate Brothers & Sisters in Arms be taken care of FIRST (what a concept!) but after that, WTF aren’t we importing CHRISTIANS from around the world that are TRULY persecuted?

What a friggin’ MESS this a-hole has created. And all by design.

842 days to go! Will America survive?

If that's the plan then there are enough of those nation wide to house 20 times the number we already have.

Lots of these kids are going to disappear... what a nightmare. What’s wrong with Obama that he won’t send them home?

This is insanity. House them on the lawn of the White House and send truckloads to each member of Congress, ya think?
