For what's it's worth, and it's hideous at best, many of the people in this area are living a day to day SHTF scenario.
Yes, the looting is hideous. Their day to day life is hideous. This crash to us is a horrendous tragedy. To them, it is a treasure trove of salvage that fell from the sky.
I'm simply stating that our sentiments towards this nightmare would probably be the same over there under normal circumstances, but in a war torn regime, this is probably a luxury they don't care to engage in.
A militia member in black pants ran toward us, yelling that we should stop using our cell phones.
I will shoot, I have nothing to lose, he said.
WHAT THE HELL WAS THIS PLANE FLYING OVER A WAR ZONE FOR?!?!?
Yeh —
The gibsmedat army of voters vote themselves loot, while the gibsmedat army of looters shoot their loot out of the sky.
Terrorism works. Putin has more in common with Vlad the Impaler than just the name.
The end justifies the means. A long and firm belief of the communists, who adopted it obviously from the muslims.
300 or so dead is nothing to a people who either participated in or suffered in the extermination of millions of their own countrymen.
Wrong question:
Why is Russia giving SAMs to drunken rebels in a war zone under an international flight path thus endangering all the flights overhead???
Meanwhile, obama did promise "flexibility". There it is. Russia could arm terrorists in our own nation, would obama bother to do anything? Perhaps issue an executive order to deprive citizens of access to firearms (oh, he did that this week.) Has obama even decided if this is a tragedy yet? Maybe it's time for another one of his "apology tours".
/rant off *sigh*
Sorry, it makes my head spin, the times we live in...
