GAZA CITY — In the heaviest bombardment of its 13-day offensive, Israel pummeled a neighborhood in east Gaza overnight Sunday, producing gruesome images of bodies dead in the streets amid masses of rubble.
Thousands of panicked residents were pouring out of the area in mass flight Sunday morning. The scene at Shifa Medical Center, Gaza’s main hospital, was chaotic. Ambulance drivers reported great difficulty entering the east Gaza town called Shijaiyah, which bore the brunt of continuous fire.
After a brief lull at dawn, midmorning Sunday saw an increase of artillery and tank shelling. Explosions sounded closer to the center of Gaza City and the sky was filled with Israeli drones witnessing the mass exodus of civilians.

Use much larger bombs and to hell with avoiding civilian casualties.
Also hit mosques, that is where they are hiding missiles as the moosie turds know them Jews will avoid hitting em there.

Keep the upper hand. Unless the rockets are launched off the mosques, leave them for the ground offensive so with the discovery of any rockets inside, bring in the Caterpillars to clean the streets up after they have EOD dispose of them in the mosques. Video catalog everything and I mean everything.

In 2009, Israel launched a ground operation, but bowed to pressure to pull back, based on a “negotiations breakthrough.” What that accomplished for the Hamas demons was continued possession of their rocket batteries. This cannot be allowed to happen again. Israel is going to take a media beating anyway, so Netanyahu should ignore the rantings of the little boy king in the White House and do what’s best for Israel.
Shifa Medical Center in Gaza City is where Hamas has its Main Command and Control city (a city, not a bunker) - located deep beneath the Center.

By the press it would probably be considered racist to tar all Muslims or all Palestinians with acts of aggression. To maintain that a two state solutions works you also have to maintain the fiction that there are “moderate” Muslims. And, there are Muslims who don’t themselves commit violence. But for the most part they venerate it and support it in others. I’ve seen photos of Palestinians dressing their babies and toddlers in suicide suits for celebrations. What message does that send to the kids?
No. Hit the mosques now - they only use them for the sympathy liberal media to whine about being destroyed. Hamas would have no qualms hitting synagogs and temples - or churches and hospitals come to that. This is a religious war, make no mistake. Hamas (an Iranian proxy) aims to exterminate Israel and all Jews within it.
Even if you're a so-called moderate, you support those muzzies who are practicing the intention of Mohammed...World Domination and "Kill all the Christians and Jews".

Now we’re getting there. Accurate and prolonged artillery can obliterate an area including not only the surface structures, but the hidden underground facilities as well. The population was warned to leave so any people remaining are de facto combatants.
The shelling is much less expensive and more accurate for systematic area destruction.
Obama can send a drone into Pakistan to kill militants and in the process kill dozens of innocent civilians. Do you think the American press and journalists say a word about this. Hell No. If Florida was getting bombarded every day with rockets from Cuba, do you think we would stand by and say thank you can I have another. It is time Israel finally wiped Gaza off the map. Proper policy has always been to shoot back.
Counter-battery radar of the 1960’s could predict not only the impact of incoming fire, but could accurately place the origin. Newer stuff HAS to be better.
A consistent policy of always shooting back (105, 155, 175mm gun or 8”—whatever serves) in response to each and every rocket launch’s point of origin would stop the fire.
It’s MUCH cheaper, and cheaper in lives which is the main point.
I noticed during the Sunni-Shiite conflicts in Iraq that neither side has the least compunction about blowing up one another’s mosques. I guess it’s only a sacrilege when “infidels” do it.
