I think Obama is an absolute disaster, but for those on FreeRepublic who admire Putin and his desires to reestablish a Russian/Soviet Empire up to and including its areas in Cuba, there is no good reason for them not to love Obama. Obama is, like Putin, a statist and a fraud. And Obama makes Putin’s dreams possible.

Opposition to the commie 0bama does not constitute support for his commie comrade Putin. Any implication otherwise is fighting words.
What I often see is that opposition to Putin leads to the false claim that only those who support Obama would criticize Putin. If you haven’t seen that type of thinking, you only need to watch the Putinistas posting.
With the MH17 "crash" (shootdown) the idiot news media points to the Korean Airlines 007 shootdown in the 80s, but fails to point out that Putin was neck deep in the "crash" of a Polish airliner carrying high ranking military and politicians of the Polish government a few years ago. He's a cold blooded butcher.
Hussein's naive foreign policy is bting us in the butt big time, but like many, I think his aim is to destroy OUR COUNTRY.
All this said, Opposition to king 0bama does not constitute praise, endorsement, etc. of Putin. The best that can be said of Putin is that he is a stronger leader than the sissy boy Hussein.
