GAZA CITY — Seventy Palestinians were killed Sunday in a heavy bombardment of a Gaza neighborhood and 13 Israeli soldiers were slain in the most intense day of fighting in Israel’s current offensive against Hamas fighters, officials said. The Hamas military also announced its fighters had captured an Israeli soldier.

Israel needs a different approach to how it deals with Israeli prisoners; something more like the Russian approach to these situations - pick up some high ranking Hamas leaders and start sending them back in pieces until the Israeli soldier is released.

On the news some drama queen reporter was talking about hundreds dead, senseless massacre and “the smell of death was in the air”. She didn’t bother to report that they had been told to leave the area. Good grief.

Freshly dead doesn’t smell like anything cept the after shave they put on the day they died.
“Worst”? If more terrorists are eliminated, how can this be the “worst” day?

They may mistreat the soldier but they won’t kill him because they know they can trade one Israeli soldier for hundreds of Palestinian terrorists.
if Israel stopped taking prisoners, there would be no further incentive for kidnapping Israelis.
