ALEXANDRIA, Virginia (AP) — The U.S. government is rapidly expanding the number of names it accepts for inclusion on its terrorist watch list, with more than 1.5 million added in the last five years, according to numbers divulged by the government in a civil lawsuit.
About 99 percent of the names submitted are accepted, leading to criticism that the government is "wildly loose" in its use of the list.

No doubt every member of Free Republic is on the list.
I wonder how many are real terrorists and how many are merely targets of opportunity for the leftists in power (prior military, conservatives, Christians, gun owners, and members of FR who have commented honestly on the thug in our White House).
With all the muzzies in this country, the suspect list of terrorists should be much longer.
Reminds me of a scene from VIVA ZAPATA in which Zapata (Marlon Brando) speaks up to the President of Mexico and his name is immediately put on a list.
Later, as President, he finds himself putting names on the list.
That seems like rather a lot. Even paranoid I don’t think there are that many terrorists in the US. Maybe one third of that amount. Maybe only about 10 thousand.
But, what are they saying, we’ve got one and a half million terrorists, let’s keep the borders wide open?
It makes no sense.

At some point it will be easier to maintain a list of those that not considered terrorists .... everyone will be considered a terrorist unless on the list.

SPLC figured that one out with regard to fundraising. Hell, they probably have Pillsbury & Michelin on their hate group list because their mascots are white.
If “terrorist” means every conservative heterosexual God fearing gun owning military veteran in America, then that number isn’t very realistic.
