Russian President Vladimir Putin lashed out against a chorus of international condemnation Monday over Moscow's role in training and arming the rebels believed to have shot down a Malaysia Airlines passenger plane Thursday, killing all 298 on board.

Putin's had a fairly good run of popularity on the world stage and a real chance to be a different, non-Soviet sort of Russian and lead a new and improved, non-Soviet sort of Russia.
Instead, he's officially gone back to the old playbook, rolling tanks onto the neighbors' yards and shooting down passenger planes full of tourists.
There'll be no "I'll see your testosterone and raise" in response from the one known as "obama" like we used to do in the old days, but you can bet the obama administration's hash tag counter attack will be withering and unrelenting.
Rather Putin is the new Gullum and looks like him too. He wants the gold ring.

Bush said his famous soul phrase in 2001. Oil prices had been low for decades, Putin was new to power, very humble and acted his little heart out to appeal to Bush.
Now Putin has had high oil prices and power for more than a decade. High oil prices have given him arrogance to show his true self. Add to that the corruption that comes with having that much power for such a long time.
