Former Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul claimed Sunday that the U.S. and European Union may share responsibility for the downing of a Malaysia Airlines plane over Ukraine last week.
“While western media outlets rush to repeat government propaganda on the event, there are a few things they will not report,” Paul, a former Republican congressman from Texas, wrote on his website. “They will not report that the crisis in Ukraine started late last year, when the EU and U.S. overthrew the elected Ukrainian president, Viktor Yanukovych. Without U.S.-sponsored ‘regime change,’ it is unlikely that hundreds would have been killed in the unrest that followed. Nor would the Malaysian Airlines crash have happened.”

Ron Paul is wrong.
No US airliner is permitted to fly over Ukrainian airspace since all the tension started. But the Malaysians who lost a plane already this year figured. “What the hell” we got plenty.
I wouldn’t fly that airline.
Ron Paul is to blame because... Putin knew if something like this happened, Ron Paul would come out and blame America.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it’s unlikely the US would have done this had the US never existed. Therefore (by Paulestinian logic) the shoot down of the jet was in part caused by the existence of the United States.
It’s all Bush’s fault. Hell, we can probably blame it on Thomas Jefferson. Had he not written the declaration rebelling against the King, we’d still be British Colonials. No, it’s King George’s fault for raising taxes on our tea! but then, he was just raising money to pay for the war with France, so it’s all France’s fault. If we work hard enough, we can probably find British and or french involvement with the Russo-Turkish War of 1768–74 t that brought Southern Ukraine, Crimea and the upper northwestern part of the North Caucasus within the orbit of the Russian Empire. So it is all Russia’s fault after all.
Don’t ya just love this guy? Now the media will be telling the world that the front runner for the GOP nomination for President says we are responsible for the deaths of hundreds.
He’s not Republican, I don’t know how he is able to constantly attach himself to the party, or why party leaders allow this to happen.
Is it any wonder why the party is lacking in raising funds? They step on the conservatives and embrace the lunatic.
