Hamas Terrorists Wearing IDF Uniforms Attack Israelis

A Hamas force wearing Israeli army uniforms emerged from a tunnel inside Israel this morning and inflicted losses on Israeli troops before being wiped out.

The Hamas squad numbered at least 10 fighters, Israeli sources said. Nine were killed but an Israeli officer said at least two may have escaped through the tunnel.

In initial accounts, which gave conflicting narratives, the Hamas force was said to have emerged from a hidden tunnel on the Israeli side of the border only 200 yards from a kibbutz, and split into two groups. Israeli soldiers whom one group encountered shortly afterwards reportedly took them to be fellow Israelis until it was noticed that they were carrying Kalashnikov rifles used by Hamas.

An exchange of fire ensued. The other Hamas group meanwhile ambushed an Israeli army jeep, which it hit with an anti-tank grenade, killing its four occupants. Israeli aircraft attacked at least one of the Hamas teams.

This is the kind of stuff the North Koreans have been doing for decades. They killed the first lady back in 1974 while trying to assassinate the ROK president and also attacked the Blue House (president’s mansion) in 1968 with a large squad dressed as South Korean soldiers.

Muslim Arabs have no bottom threshold for “heinous” and they have been proving it for decades.

Israel should do themselves a favor and not stop until they have searched every outhouse, chicken house, home, business or hole in the ground and not give in to outside pressure until they are done! They should shoot anyone that opposes them. This would also do a favor to the part of the population that does not support the Koranimals that live there!

Do you think they were just trying to follow the Geneva convention, but being so unfamiliar with it unwittingly donned the wrong uniforms?

My vote: bulldoze every building within 500 meters of the border fence and tell Hamas not to rebuild. The next time a tunnel comes across, bulldoze every building within a thousand meters. Make it harder for Hamas to tunnel and expensive for Palestinians to tolerate the tunneling.

Sounds about how I’d do it....starting about 20 years ago.

You’ve got my vote.

Ditto! If Gaza disappears as a result of rockets or tunnels, no great loss.

These are terrorists which most often are not supported by the local populace. So bulldozing the houses of innocent people who had nothing to do with attacks and probably work in Israel is a lose-lose and won’t improve anything. The tunnels are not made by volunteers or hires, they are made by captives which sometimes include entire families. When the tunnel is completed the diggers are usually executed.

Rather than becoming a pariah it would be better to use good intel, listening devices and ground-penetrating radar to discover the tunnels before they’re used.

“False flag” enemies have a special place in the hierarchy of crimes committed in the cover of war. This is a tactic that probably predates history, and has been treated most viciously by the targeted force when detected.

There is strong reason to believe the “Israeli” soldier that was caught and killed by a number of Gaza Strip civilians a couple days back was one of these “false flag” operatives. They are perhaps in even greater danger from their own side than from the enemy they purport to be copying from.

I like the “bulldozer” idea. Most of those who live in Palestine know who are part of Hamas. Like the certain races in this country, “nobody sees anything”, thereby keeping the wolf away from the door.

AFAIK, the Hamas people claimed to have “captured” an Israeli soldier, “Shaul Aron” but never showed any identifying pictures. There was an “Oron Shaul”, whom Israel identified as one of the 13 killed soldiers.

In the fog of war, many claims are made, that later proved to be a hoax, but have an inordinate effect on the motivations of the combatants.

“Shaul Aron” was supposed to have been captured, but “Oron Shaul” is reported as “killed in action”.

Sort out what you will from that.

We didn’t have any problem fire bombing Hamburg and Tokyo in WWII. Why don’t we just suggest the Israelis do the same to Gaza?
