“The purpose of adding more resources on the ground is not to address the women and children, it’s to address the growing reality that a lot of people coming across the border are here for criminal purposes,” Abbott, the GOP gubernatorial hopeful, told Fox News on Monday. “They’re killing, they’re raping, they’re robbing, they’re doing all kinds of harsh criminal activity.”

Abbott said that women and children have been sexually assaulted by people who have come across the border.

I was deeply praying the Governor Perry would be serious about the invasion. From what I have read, his deployment of the NG is a bunnies and cookies response.

Time to start holding the Mexican government responsible.

If I were President, I would tell them, “Either do your job, or we will do it for you.”

And all the loss in capital from illegals with no insurance who hit and run, paralyze people in auto-accidents, etc. No problem for them, they just skip back down south for a bit then come back in a few months to a new area (My father was a cop in SoCal for 32 years, he was saying for decades that was their M.O.).

Every body with a brain the size of a mustard seed should have seen this coming. These criminals in our government knew what they were doing, and yet there is no one in Washington that seems to be on our side. All I see in Washington is a whole lot of CYA. Every politician is trying to “COVER YOUR ASS”. No one seems to want to take the responsibility for this debacle.

We need a President who would do as you suggest.

The Mexican Government, the Governments of Central America, and the President of the United States, and its agencies, are all complicit in violations of international law, aiding and abetting drug cartels in criminal enterprises, trafficking of humans, crimes against humanity, and crimes against children. Obama is an enabler, he is not an objector. WE THE PEOPLE OBJECT!

My respects to your father. He was on the ground for decades, seeing first hand what the liberals have ignored.

is this another indication that we are now in THE OBAMA COLD WAR?

Cold war? This is very hot indeed... and we're being completely overrun.

I think a lot of FReepers understood what was happening all along. Some FReepers understood that Obama was purposefully undermining the interdiction and apprehension of illegal aliens. But I don’t think many of saw the open collapse of the border coming. Yes, it was planned, and the liberals have stuck the final knife in America’s back now.

I suspect that many of the illegal “children” are actually just fully grown teenage males.

The last estimate I read is that 80 to 85 per cent of the people crossing are adults.

. And, judging by what Mexico has done recently, Mexico is in a state of war with the United States

Yes. Exactly.

Mexico, and probably other Central American nations, are waging an undeclared war against us, illegally using a non-uniformed, irregular army of criminals to invade us. The proper response to their acts of war would be overwhelming lethal force.

I cannot express how satisfied I would be if the entire border were mined with 50 caliber mg nests every 300 yards and M1 Abrams MBT’s stationed every couple miles with orders to kill anyone who makes it through the landmines and 50 cal fire...

Years ago, Noriega said that Panama was in a “state of war” with the United States. The U.S. said ok, and invaded and put him in prison. Mexico and the Central Americans are smart enough not to say they are in a “state of war.”

It’s not a debacle until the American sheeple say so, and they are quiet as a mouse.

You’d be surprised though how many of the American people support this invasion.

The Mexicans may be silent ... but the state of war remains.

Bam-Bam has the resources, as POTUS, to resolve this problem. He clearly does not WANT to resolve it.
