Jorge Ramos: "No Government Should Be In The Business Of Deporting Children"
Real Clear Politics ^ | July 22, 2014 | Jorge Ramos

Posted on 07/22/2014 2:36:51 PM PDT by C19fan

JORGE RAMOS: We have to be realistic: Central American children will continue to show up at this border by the tens of thousands.

We know they are fleeing violence, gangs and poverty, and they know that this country will give them a hand.

No, I am not - we are not - encouraging them to come here all the way from San Salvador and San Pedro Sula.

As we've shown you, it's an incredibly dangerous journey, many don't make it, but we cannot advocate for mass deportations every time we have an immigration crisis in this country.

That's not the American way.

(Excerpt) Read more at realclearpolitics.com ...

TOPICS: Constitution/Conservatism; Culture/Society; News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: aliens; amnesty; immigration
If you read the transcript he states:

With immigration reform these children would arrive in a safe and orderly way.

So in his mind immigration reform will eliminate the illegal immigration problem by making everyone already here legal and everyone who wants to come in the future will be allowed so legally, i.e., de jure open borders.

I wonder what Ramos would say if someone started chartering planes and ships and bringing everyone everyone who wants to come to the US from Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Subcontinent. According to Ramos they should all be let in.

So basically this judge doesn’t think the law should matter? Is that what he’s saying?

Then what do we need judges for?

I vote for sealing the borders and deportation of all illegal aliens. No mass deportations, ONE AT A TIME until they are all gone. Make it a felony to hire an illegal alien. PROBLEM SOLVED.

So why are the governments of El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, etc. actively participating in the deportation of their children?

I agree George. Get this message to Guatamala, Honduras and Mexico & tell them to cease immediately.

Why is what Jorge Ramos says “news”? Other than shooting his mouth off about how the whole world should be allowed into the US to live off the US taxpayer’s dime, why should we have to read what he says? Besides, he is not saying anything new. Its the same old BS about how we should pay for the world’s children if they manage to make it to US soil.

They slant the debate right off by calling them "children."

They don't look like children, from the pictures I've seen.

We have to be realistic: Central American children will continue to show up at this border by the tens of thousands.

If tens of thousands of parents are willing to pay coyotes and bribes to the Mexican government (nothing crosses Mexico without paying the mordida) and then get their kids shipped back to them within a month, getting nothing for all of the money they spent they will stop sending them. They are spending a considerable amount of money to ship the kids north and will soon stop making this bad investment if they get nothing for their money.

Jorge what if Americans would let them through to Canada like Mexico dies to the US? Believe me they would be sent back pronto.

Why aren't they turned back by Mexico?

Think about it, why, under any sort of rational “reform,” you would ever invite or permit unaccompanied minors. By definition, they are just going to be a burden. If an immigrant is of laboring age, even if they don’t have any education you can still argue they could be cheap/slave labor. But not kids.

He has no business lecturing any American, he’s a subversive bent on avenging the loss of empire by Spain and it’s decrepit colonies in the Americas

No Government should ever be in the business of taking children from their parents. that is as disgusting here at home when you do it for “health” reasons as it is abroad when you shelter runways.

Theses Children must be sent home to their parents without delay.

Personally I think he should be talking to mexico and all the central american and other countries that are deporting their unwanted children to the U.S.! Where is the outrage? How is it possible that all of these children's parents are living illegally in the United States? This is nothing less than seeding America with their unwanted castoffs.

Cool. Send all these children to Jorge’s and other liberal’s homes that advocate open borders. Also, Jorge must house and feed all of them for the next 18 years. Oh, that is not acceptable to him? Figures.

They don't look like children, from the pictures I've seen.

That is why there is np photography allowed by the Obama civilian army.
90% of those "children" aren't.

And if images of the real subjects became generally seen, there would be a run on firearms.

You’re no American taking that position. No American is for open borders and illegal aliens. Stop with the BS. They should be sent back to their parents. And the borders secured.

As I saw this thread, I saw that idiot on O'Reilly. What a POS he is. The only thing I disagreed with O'Reilly on, was that he kept telling Ramos that he is a good man. That is BS. Ramos is a POS, and you are right about the birth control.

I guess that would put him in line with the Libertarians and the Chamber of Commerce wing of the GOP, along with every Democrat and the CPUSA.
