It is a boycott of Israel led by Obama.
It is similar to the boycott of Christians in Iraq
led by Obama.
It is similar to the funding of Hamas and terrorists
including the “rebels” by Obama.

Several airlines already had suspended operations or diverted flights.
The ban comes less than a week after a Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 was shot down over Ukraine. For Hamas, it could be the biggest break the Islamist group has had since the most recent fighting started — potentially increasing Israeli’s physical and psychological isolation from the rest of the world. The airport handles about 14 million travelers a year.

United, Delta and USAir have suspended all flights to Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport after a Hamas rocket this afternoon landed in Yahud, some 5 kilometers from the airport (Hat Tip: NY Nana). The White House says that it did not order the flights suspended, but Delta said it made its decision in coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration.

7:41 P.M. The FAA prohibits all U.S. airlines from flying to and from Ben-Gurion International Airport “for a period of up to 24 hours.”
5:57 P.M. Delta Airlines and U.S. Airways suspend flights to and from Israel on Tuesday. This follows a warning from the Federal Aviation Authority given after a rocket fell earlier Tuesday in Yehud, near Ben-Gurion International Airport. United Airlines announced it will continue operating as usual.
A Delta Airlines flight from New York to Israel landed in Paris following the decision. U.S. Air has relocated planes currently at Ben-Gurion airport tonight’s planned flight has been canceled. (Zohar Blumenkrantz)

Well ... also note that Israel itself sends through their controlled crossing into Gaza humanitarian aid to the Palestinian civilians.
I guess you would have to be blaming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for sending aid to Gaza’s Palestinians, too ... :-) ...
I should point out that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had at least one cease-fire (and I think two) so that MORE humanitarian aid could be sent into Gaza for the Palestinian civilians.
I think it was the right decision..no airline wants another MH17 on their hands..and the rocket that struck today was one mile from the airport..El Al is the only airline in the world with a missile defense system on board the plane..if a rocket comes close to it it will be detected
If you ever want to fly to Israel, El Al is the ONLY way to fly..its the only airline I would ever take
Yeah, it’s definitely prudent, even if it is unfortunate in regards to other aspects. The airlines have a business to run and they don’t run it well by risking the lives of their passengers.
Look for Hussein and the Euroweenies to pull El Al's landing rights in the USA and Europe, because the airline operates "unsafely in a war zone".
