Civil rights leaders at the NAACPs annual convention worry that black voters wont show up at voting booths in November this year.
Black voting turnout hit records in presidential elections during Barack Obamas presidency but dropped sharply in 2010. A wave of newly elected Republicans passed several laws targeting voter fraud after those elections that critics say make it harder for minorities to vote.

So Philly will only have 105% turnout?
Which is why Barry, Eric and Michelle are fanning the flames.
blacks should worry—they are being replaced by Latinos.
This is truly an anachronistic organization that should have phased itself out after the passage of the Civil Rights Act.
I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ll bet the commie ‘RATS already have union thugs and al-Raza types filling out ballots.
“make it harder for minorities to vote” more than once or after they’re dead
some of the new “immigrants” will be poll workers...at least in Chicago...and D.C....
Give out some more free cell phones and the problem is solved.
Fund-raising BS from black organizations. Almost every one of these laws has been struck down in the federal courts.
obams turns a blind eye and a deaf ear to the skyrocketing unemployment and violence blacks live with every day.
Many blacks, especially black Christians, are appalled at obama’s obsession with lgbt ‘rights’.
Most recently they see how well illegal children are treated vs. how their own American children are neglected.
He has failed the black community miserably.
No, they aren’t they are worried they will vote Republican.
I wouldn’t be surprised. That’s probably what they are using them for at the Government “refugee” resorts. They have them filling out ballots for November’s election.
This is why the democrats are hardening voting as an issue of voting against white people, to make it a racial pride activity and a chance to lash out.
Not quite the old civic duty that we used to hear about.
re: He has failed the black community miserably.
True, but to semi-quote Hillary, what difference will it make? I don’t think one bit. Obama’s popularity among Blacks is still in the 90’s. It doesn’t get better than that, and I can’t think of anything he could do to truly disappoint the black community enough to abandon him.
No worries, I’m sure the GOPe will pay to get them to the polls. Right, Thad?
What they should worry about is the African American vote switching to the conservative side if the border chaos doesn’t stop. It is the perfect spot to drive home how DC and the current crop of politicians will allow the country to be over run while our own citizens are out of work, out of hope, and out of change
In the 2012 election there was massive fraud. No one gets 100%, 110%, 145% of the vote but obama did in many counties.
