...Libertarian Confuses Florida Gov Race, Quinnipiac...Finds; Voters Don't Trust Scott Or Crist
Quinnipiac University ^ | 7/23/14

Florida Republican Gov. Rick Scott trails former Gov. Charlie Crist, running as a Democrat, by a narrow 45 - 40 percent margin in a two-way race. When Libertarian candidate Adrian Wyllie is added to the mix, the race is too close to call, with 39 percent for Crist, 37 percent for Scott and 9 percent for Wyllie, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today.

This compares to a 48 - 38 percent Crist lead in a head-to-head matchup without Wyllie in an April 30 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University.

He may seem to help Scott because he helps dilute the anti-Scott vote but do not trust that.

For "Libertarian," read "Liberal." Period.

These clowns are very deliberately helping the Dems get elected and destroy America. Shun them. They are pure evil.

Work to re-elect Rick Scott. He may not be perfect but his Lib opponents are of the devil.

I KNOW Florida Freepers....or at least some of them......will vehemently disagree with me.....on this.

I’m a long time Floridian......and a life long Republic

I cannot vote for either Scott OR Crist!

Crist is a schmuck of the first order.

Scott not only signed off giving ILLEGALS in state tuition for college....

....his office rep refused to give me his position on ILLEGALS being brought in to states.....and whether he would allow our state used like this.

Her response was......He hasn’t made a statement on that yet!!!!!!!!!!!!

I voted for this guy......

I am his citizen constituent

I am.a tax paying Floridian

....and he couldn’t/wouldn’t answer the **** question!

Well, I guess I got my answer standing in the blazing hot son on the Pineda Overpass Saturday......
because Scott is letting them in.

I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils......never again!

Quinnipiac is usually one of the more reliable polls, but how in God's creation can Crist be leading Scott?
Crist?
I don't believe more than the brain-dead, vote-D-no-matter-what 30% of Floridians would pull the D-lever in November.

Then we're back to the original argument....if you don't throw a vote out there for Scott because he's not ‘pure’....we get orange Charlie who not only isn't pure, he's Obama lite.

I’m not a bit happy with Scott. His only saving grace is the large amount of jobs opening up in FL. But his non-stance on illegals and blatant cronyism bothers me to no end. I haven’t yet decided if he’s worth keeping around.

However, anyone who tells me that if I don’t vote for him, I am getting Orange Crist elected can go urinate up a rope. Strategic voting is how we keep getting saddled with so-called “electable” jackwagons that stab conservatives in the back. I no longer vote against anyone. My vote needs to be earned, and not being “the other guy” doesn’t work with me.

Someone is going to be sworn after the election. Please don’t let it be Crist. This is an incumbent reelection, and no one on our side challenged Scott. He’s the only option. He’s clearly the better option on the race and will be 75% on our side. Watch the destruction of McCaullife in Va ignoring the law like Obamas . Crist will be worse.

Because voters are fed up .......

....I think they are sending a message to Scott about his illegal stand. ( or lack of one)

I am in Florida and I agree 100% with everything you said. Also, in todays paper there is information about Scott funding “bicycle tourism” (Agenda 21) with a $100,000 study and $16 million next year for bicycle trails.

Yep, this will really jump start Florida’s tourism industry and provide jobs to boot. (sarc)

These clowns are very deliberately helping the Dems get elected and destroy America. Shun them. They are pure evil.

That statement painted the whole barn with one stroke of the brush. And applies equally to republicans like Charlie Crist and Rick Scott. Blinded by irrational hatred is no way to go through life.

Libertarians are about 15% of the voting public. No republican ever won without Libertarian votes. Jackwagons like you chase off Libertarians. Then whine when we vote for our parties candidate.

That is what happened in Florida. Learn to like losing. Because the stench of your RINO can no longer be kept out by nose holding.

Really? You can stay home in November but after almost losing our business, I'm thankful for what Scott has done to help us keep it. Our employees are thankful, too. Additionally, Florida's economy is doing better than most of the Country. Florida Economy UCF Unlike you, I see no reason to punish Scott for that. On the other hand, I'd rather work with Scott on the issues I disagree with than have Charlie who I know won't do anything in our best interest.

Isn't your strategy what got us Obama? Do you think by staying home you're really sending a message to the GOPe?

Refers not to the libertarian minded voter but rather to the so-called “Libertarian” candidates who exist only to help Dems get elected.

The dems have run stealth candidates to confuse voters and prop up democrats. Not all LP candidates are dems in drag, some are good people.

Conservative candidates need every vote they can get. Even Libertarians willing to vote for a constitutional conservative.

Shun them. They are pure evil.

You Republicans are much like the citizens of Detroit.

After you shun all of the libertarians away, and shun all of the conservatives away, and shun all of the tea partiers away, you will be left with just yourselves. Of course, it will be someone else's fault.

Like those leftists, you believe the Republican party is too big to fail, and that libertarians, tea partiers, and conservatives owe you a bail out.

The next time you come to me with your hand out, I will have the same sympathy for you as I do the people of Detroit.
