Sarah Palin Endorses Joe Carr for Senate Against Lamar Alexander
Breitbart ^ | July23, 2014 | Tony Lee

Posted on 07/23/2014 2:55:50 PM PDT by don-o

On Wednesday, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin endorsed conservative Tennessee state representative Joe Carr in his primary bid to oust incumbent Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN).

Carr has been hammering Alexander before the August 7th primary for voting for the Senate's Gang of Eight comprehensive amnesty bill even after he was warned by law enforcement officials that it would exacerbate the border crisis. Even Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) voted against the final bill.

Palin thanked Alexander for his service and then promptly said it is time for new leaders who will have the guts to tell the Obama administration, "no mas."

"Unfortunately, advocating and voting for amnesty, cash for clunkers, bailouts, raising the debt ceiling, and many controversial Obama administration nominees has marred the incumbent’s record," Palin wrote on her Facebook page. "It’s time for a change."

Palin's announcement comes a day after conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham, who powered Dave Brat to a shocking upset win over House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) last month, campaigned for Brat in Tennessee on Tuesday evening.

Do not have TV. Does this Flinn character have ads running? He has the potential to outspend Carr.

The main thing is too establish that Joe Carr is the only challenger you should vote for if there is a chance of beating Lamar.

Good! I can barely listen to Alexander ads. First the ad claiming he was a Conservative- lie. Then the ad proclaiming he and Reagan were political BFF’s- lie.

About Dr. Flinn, my mom a doctor knows and likes him, needs to focus on running for political office in Memphis. He’s a good guy with lots of businesses.

Flinn got smoked by Steve Cohen in the 2012 ninth district, despite spending 1.5 million.

He has the potential to help Lamar! by siphoning votes from Carr.

That is how TN got 2 lib Repubs in the Senate, a primary with too many. If only the Conservatives could work together and agree to back just one to prevent situations like this.

Even Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) voted against the final bill.

Sure he did after it didn't matter. That is why those conservative ratings mean nothing.

exactly

RINO’s vote them to the floor where they are sure to pass and then vote against them.

and their ACU rating improves.

sickening

What in the world does this paragraph mean?

It means Laura Ingraham campaigned Tues Eve for Brat in TN, and Sarah Palin announced after Laura’s announcement that she was backing Brat too. Got it?

It has a mistake. The writer meant to write that Laura was in TN campaigning for Carr.

That’s the only way it makes in sense as the Brat race was on June 10.
Apparently Ingraham was in TN last night to campaign for Carr.

Thanks

I just hope voters have been stewing over Alexander’s antics and vote him out of office sending him back home {to DC} next month. We can’t afford him again here.

Meanwhile, over at The Mark Levin Show:

---------------------------------------------

What's interesting is his fan club loves to demonize ANYONE who DOESN'T blindly endorse a Tea Party Senate race challenger as a "lapdog for the GOP-E!!!" who "thinks the incumbent is entitled to a lifetime career in the Senate"

But, of course, his holiness Mark Levin is EXEMPT from the rules of his own fan club. Not a single Levinite is going to start screaming that Levin "is a GOP-E tool who thinks Alexander is entitled to a lifetime job" because he won't lift a finger to support Carr (kinda like how Paulbots would be raising hell in public if anyone else endorsed Mitch McConnell, but its fine and dandy if their savior Rand does it)

Yeah, this would have been more helpful about 2-3 months ago and even more help if she could have campaigned with him in a few places in TN.

Good for him, took him long enough. He’s been pushing that loser Wolf for months.

More importantly, good for Sarah, her endorsement is the important one.

I am cautiously optimistic that we have a real chance here and we can have a late surge like what happened with Cantor and Brat. Just like that race, Lamar is touting an internal poll that shows him up HUGE.

My biggest concern is all the minor candidate losers who will split the vote, 45% (or less) could be enough for Lamar to win.
