An Iranian judge sentenced a Christian man to have his lips burnt with a cigarette for eating during the day in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, The Daily Mail reported.
The barbaric punishment was carried out in public in a square in the city of Kermanshah.
Five other Muslim men were also flogged in public with 70 lashes for not fasting during Ramadan, the city’s deputy governor Ali Ashraf Karami said. […]

We once had a foreign student from France who was muslim stay with us during Ramadan. His family background was Morrocan/Algerian. He said children do not have to observe Ramadan. As a child of elementary school age, you may feel motivated to try, to see if you can do it, but there is no penalty for giving up early. After doing this for a few Ramadans, you are eventually able to go the whole distance. Adults with big health problems and pregnant women are not required to observe Ramadan.
This ISIS movement is a lot crazier than the normal level of Muslim practices.
I sure wish our President cared enough to admit the craziness exists, and actually did something about it.
