Pope Francis met privately Thursday with Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese Christian woman who faced a death sentence for refusing to renounce her faith, blessing the woman after she was flown to Italy on an Italian government jet.
The Vatican characterized the visit with Ibrahim, 27, her husband and their two small children as "very affectionate."

I couldn’t help but read that story with sadness that it was Italy and NOT the United States who served this woman’s interests in the negotiations with Sudan to spare her and tirelessly pleaded for her release from these barbarians.
The US has become anathema around the world for negotiating anything meaningful for good with anyone anywhere. Stunning collapse in the practice of virtue for our nation is now obvious to the world.

Lets not forget our Marine in Mexico.....Don’t get me wrong, I let the LORD know how thankful I was that Mariam Ibrahim and her family were free and that her family didn’t get her back to do an “honor (more like horror) killing”, but what really gets me is that Obama turned everything upside down and released five of the worst terrorists from Gitmo, to get a converted muslim out, but from what I can see, doesn’t do a thing to get Mariam, Sgt. Tamoressie (sp) or Pastor Saeed Abedini out and why???? All three of them are Christian and I think America is fast learning what Obama thinks of Christians. I think it is such a shame that it was Italy who got Mariam and her family out, and not the U.S., after all, her husband, and two children are American citizens, she is also an American by marriage. Please LORD GOD, free Sgt. Tamoressie, Pastor Saeed Abedini, and all other Christians who are being persecuted where ever they may be and take us home, we are so ready. SHA-ALU SHALOM-YERUSHALAYIM.

He never said a word, never lifted a finger...while orchestrating 100’s of thousands of illegals across the border and while leaving our marine a prisoner on Mexico - also without a word or action.

Oh you are SO right! That situation is another bastardization of everything America ever stood for by the high regard Americans used to hold for their nation’s sons, and daughters.
There was a louder scream about that fool Mexican NON-citizen Lefty reporter who got stuck in Mexico, was denied re-entry, and had to “swim” across the Rio Grande like the illegal he IS!
