Well, it probably happens in the Syracuse area now, too. So sad.
I once knew a Psychiatrist who was held up at gunpoint for 2 1/2 hrs. inside a closed room with a psychotic patient with a sawed off shotgun at a VA in New Orleans
He went on a “Prolonged Sabbatical” afterward
Don’t blame him a bit, that’s an excellent reason for a prolonged sabbatical.
