The federal government is asking paramedics and firefighters to be on the lookout for “extremists” as part of a program that aims to uncover “suspicious activity.”
A bulletin released in March 2014 by the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and the National Counterterrorism Center, obtained this week by Public Intelligence, contains details of a program entitled “Emergency Medical Treatment Presents Opportunity for Discovery of Violent Extremist Activities.”
The bulletin, which was sent out to firefighters, emergency medical service personnel and other first responders nationwide, encourages these groups to watch for “indicators of violent extremist activities” during their line of work.
First responders are asked to “evaluate whether an injury is a genuine accident or related to violent extremist activity,” by noting “hastily or expediently treated injuries” which “may be signs of suspicious activity.”
The thought of EMTs becoming distracted by a function which allows them to pretend they have a starring role in CSI Miami, instead of promptly treating someone who is seriously burned, will not fill potential victims of such accidents with much confidence.

That means not calling 911 in an emergency and may mean the difference between life and death for a loved one. It also means not driving or riding in an Onstar equipped car during which the system is operating. And most general, not being in public and getting into a situation that prompts someone else to call 911 on your behalf.

Some of these idiots that live in cities, work behind a desk and think you need a paramedic to take care of a paper cut haven’t the slightest clue how the average person in flyover country leads their lives and can take care of themselves without govt assistance.
I remember years ago reading about how many people would actually call 911 for a band-aid.

Ah, but NOW the ruler, through his IRS gestapo, can cut off your healthcare if you do not answer yes or no. And what follows that intrusion is the visit by fedzilla spot checking to make sure you answered truthfully, even though nothing compels fedzilla or anyone in the criminal org of fedzilla to answer ANYTHING truthfully. Fascism needs a means to enforce their rule. Your government controlled healthcare through the already proven criminal IRS is just such enforcement.

I think the renters next door are feds. The men all have crew cuts (three guys supposedly related and a woman) all seem to be fitness nuts. Not social at all. any interaction I have had with the older guys seems like talking to a cop. The youngest guy told me in our one and only conversation “We moved from New york here to get away from the high taxes”. I am probably paranoid. But that doesn’t mean someone isn’t out to get me..:)

Oh definitely. I cling to my Bible and my few remaining guns. The fedzilla wouldn’t be interested in a .22 Ruger 1022 or Ruger SR22 Pistol, right? But I shall cling on, stoically.
That actually sounds plausible. The woman living there is seldom outside an when she is she almost goes out of her way to avoid contact. And now the house is back up for rent. they’ve been there maybe eight months if that. I know not everyone is social with their neighbors but these folks were downright anti social. and the paranoua came from the fact that I am very anti-tax and fedgov and the first thing the young guy tells me is their “reason” for moving in next door (i had no obvious signs of my tea party affiliation outside my home at the time.)
