Front page headline from the nyt? Nah. Mentioned anywhere in the nyt? Probably not. Will the doc lose his job for having a weapon? Was it a "gun free zone"? Good for the doc. Needs to improve his aim a little but he did hit his target. Any misses? Not sure.

Let the doctor sue the patient, and the hospital.

I watched CNN report this story this morning. They looked PAINED to report a lifesaving use of a firearm by a civilian.

It looked as if they were sucking on rotten eggs and lemons when reporting the story as quickly as possible.

The doc needs to find a ruthless attorney and file a huge suit based on the administration promoting a deadly work environment. Proof one: any comments about him saving his own life.

As in the Army medic manual, the first health care is silencing the enemy fire.

NPR reported that the gunman was injured while employees restrained him. No mention of defensive use of a gun at all.
