Both ABC World News with Diane Sawyer and NBC Nightly News failed to mention a new, troubling report from the Census Bureau on Thursday night that sales of new homes decreased by 8.1% in June and that Mays originally reported double-digit increase was revised lower, from almost 19% to only 8%.
The CBS Evening News did cover this story, but it only was in the form of a 12-second news brief from anchor Scott Pelley. Pelley grimly reported that: Today's report on the housing market is raising concerns about the economic recovery. Sales of new homes dropped sharply last month, more than 8%, and that's the largest decline in nearly a year.
Instead of reporting on the depressing news regarding our nations housing market (which is a key indicator of any countrys economic state), ABC World News and NBC Nightly News had other ideas for what to fill their precious air time with.

The key question is how many new homes were available to buy. If a lot went unsold, that’s one thing, but if they sold reasonably well but not as much was available, the story is entirely different.
Presumably, if customers wanted to buy new homes but couldn’t find anything suitable, they’d either put off their purchase or look at other alternatives.
The true state of the housing market is shown by the overall price structure, which of course varies by region.
In other words, the original May report was yet another fiction created only to stimulate irrational exuberance (shifting some sales forward a month and then inventing others out of thin air), and it failed because no one believes anything FedGov says under this administration.
This thing will not end well.....
ABCCBSNBCPBSCNN - they’re all fifth-column leftwing propaganda whores, and the local affiliate propagandacasters are just as bad, if Austin’s stations are any examples.
FedGov has lost credibility, legitimacy, and authority. What could go wrong?
