Joan Rivers jettisoned comedy for politics ... unleashing an impassioned defense of Israel that included an awesome New York/New Jersey analogy.

Good for her. Glad to see people speaking up.
Go, Joan, go!
I like Joan more and more every day.
Way to go Joan!
"The world is full of surprises!"
Joan has been on a roll lately..(She called Obama gay and Michelle a Tranny) Joan always speaks her mind..and isn’t afraid to say what she feels..good for her for standing up for Israel!!
Ah, that’s nice, now about how much money has Joan donated to Obama and the Democrats?
What an idiot.
Well, at least Joan straightened that dork out.
After her response, she totes her own luggage into the terminal. She’s 81 and wealthy; she could have a flunky haul her stuff around. Good on her.
Can we talk?...................
Progressive Jews here want to transform my country into nihilistic secular utopia
But act patriotic over Israel
Conservatives here ate true friends to Israel
Defend Israel but destroy America
I love it.
Some of the comments are ‘disappointing’.....................
She nailed it when she said that.
I don't think she's a Democrat.

Sir Goob is online now
Meh. Dunno about “epic”. Interesting, and glad she is on Israel’s side.
Apparently she’s 81 & healthy, too.
This rant (which I totally agree with) didn’t include “Can we talk?” or “Oh, please!” or “Grow up!”
Unscripted & from the heart. Almost profanity-free, too.
No she always been a Republican, but good for her for speaking out in support of Israel and saying Obama is gay and Michelle is a Tranny LOL
Fair enough. Thanks.
The best comment is what she said about Selena Gomez..LOL yeah a college grad LOL
I understand your point. It’s unbelievable how many Jews contribute to enemies of Israel/Jews.
She better have body guards!
I super enjoyed watching that. Thanks for sharing it.
Wow even Paul Shaffer, I thought he was a Democrat due to being a sidekick to that grouchy old man David Letterman.
Damn, Joan Rivers and TMZ doing something I like in the same moment? What are the chances?
Rivers got it right. TMZ both tossed the softballs (intentional or not), and then aired it.
Perhaps the first time I’ve seen a (so called) celebrity get it this right on an issue concerning Israel.
Thank you Joan Rivers!
Yes, some surprises in there. I couldn’t fine a more current list but I didn’t look too hard either.
I hope in the largest possible forum.
As we can see, a lot of those people are now dead.
Which proves that plastic surgery is good for you. Where do I sign up?
Perhaps she’s morphing into the next Jackie Mason.
I’ve always loved her, the whole Carson thing broke my heart.
What if Germany rained rockets into London? Did it. Done that. What did Great Britain do?
Before I answer that, here is a fact: During 1940-1945 some 60,000 British civilians were killed by German Nazi aerial bombings (43,000 from September 1940 to May 1941).
What did Great Britain do? The British RAF dropped over 10,000 tons of bombs on Brunswick and Duisburg. 2,500 civilians were killed in Duisburg alone. That is just two cities. I did not have time to research more of the British retaliation. However, history is a strict teacher, which is something the typical college grad has no clue.
Cheers for Joan of the Ark with her size 34 long breastplate (or something like that, re. a joke she once told)!
For defense of Israel nothing will ever top this....
Bob Dylan - Neighborhood Bully
Yes, one of my favorite Bob Dylan songs. Have it among my downloaded songs.
Salena Gomez, that college grad. LOL It’s about time the Hollywood elite are called out on the intelligence. They read words and make faces. And get good money for it. Meh.
Selena Gomez is a moron..has she ever been to Israel..can she locate Israel on a map? Morons like her, Rihanna, Dwight Howard, they say their stupidity to get new fans..they are attention whores
“Ask her to spell Palestinian!”
“Wow even Paul Shaffer, I thought he was a Democrat due to being a sidekick to that grouchy old man David Letterman.”
He probably votes Republican for exactly that reason...
Ditto...especially since she called out Bo and Mo.
Good list. Thanks for posting.
It’s old and many are now dead but it’s pretty revealing. Thanks.
Do you know about the British bombing of Dresden, Germany?
The British bombing of Dresden, the seventh largest city of Nazi Germany was especially costly in civilian lives. It was difficult to get the exact figures because there were numerous refuges in the city. However, figures as high as 135,000 people perished in the fire storms sweeping the city from the Allied bombs.
Dresden was a strategic target because of the weapons and military equipment factories. It was also a key rail hub to send troops and military assets to the front lines.
3,300 tons of bombs were dropped on the city in three waves of attack. Many of the bombs were incendiary bombs that created so much fire that a firestorm developed. The more the city burned, the more oxygen was sucked in and the greater the firestorm became. This caused people to suffocate without oxygen in the underground shelters. It is thought that the temperature peaked at 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit. Such heat caused the streets to melt and become so hot that the fleeing population burned their feet so bad they fell to the ground to their deaths.
It took two weeks to gather up and burn the bodies.
The mad men of the Gasa had better take notice of history’s fate in store for them.
As a side note, Winston Churchill was considering the use of the atomic bomb against Nazi Germany.
I think Israel needs to draw a line in the sand— the line between sand and glass.
